Hey, everyone.
I'm getting many worried messages that I'm now a malware distributor
They run a Virustotal check and it returns positive with some antiviruses
I've scanned my PC with several and found nothing.
Tried to total myself, and x32 files returns this:

Is there something I can do? The non-32 version gives 0.
I saw someone mentioning that custom icons can do that, but I have a custom icon since 7.3.5 and never had this problem.
Thanks!

Re: Antivirus and 7.4.1 x32 files
I checked "renpy-32.exe" from 7.4.1 and it shows as 1 engine detected the file. https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/a4b ... /detection
It seems like "BehavesLike.Win32.Generic.dc" is behavior relating to trojan horse. However, I think this can be ignored.
It is possible that anti-virus has changed their detection, so I would recommend doing a reanalyze on VirusTotal on your old version.
I would recommend checking your system for virus, or if that doesn't help, do a clean install of Windows 10 and your related applications (including Ren'Py 7.4.1).

Re: Antivirus and 7.4.1 x32 files
So weird.
The latest build of my game has 0 with standard .exe, but 8 with x32 .exe.
Older builds (from early 2020 to late 2020) have 1-2 with the base .exe, but with different antiviruses (some Vietnamese and Chinese ones)
I thought that if I had a real malware sitting around, more engines would catch it?
Never had real problems with viruses in the past 15 years, not sure how to react.
And feedback about this started only after I updated the Renpy to 7.4+.

Re: Antivirus and 7.4.1 x32 files
I started having problems with this recently as well. After updating to 7.4.0 and 7.4.1, I can no longer make Windows packages of one of my games. (The others seem unaffected.) The Winx32 file for the game I'm trying to make a release package for keeps tripping Windows Defender, which immediately deletes the file, which then causes errors in the build process. I'm not sure how to handle this problem, since the file that I need to tell Defender to ignore doesn't exist until the build process begins...

Re: Antivirus and 7.4.1 x32 files
I've spent a bit of time on this, and the detections are absurd. It's detecting an empty program - one that does nothing at all!
I'm going to add a way to disable the x86 build.

It's probably too soon to tell. A user also contributed some fixes that will be in 7.4.3.
