Project FightStar's TLDR is it's a 'monster fighting hero AU' with turn-based RPG style combat and a yuri/wlw focus (though this game isn't a dating sim or anything, and has NO nsfw content). Just a brief demo so far with the beginning of two possible scenarios, featuring reimagined characters from the webcomic Dame Daffodil (a magical girl comic) as well as Pokemon Scarlet/Violet.
Managed to work out the basics of an RPG combat 'engine' of sorts. Moves that cost recourses, RNG, buffs and debuffs. It's been fun to learn!
Kudos to YT channel Visual Novel Design, without their videos I wouldn't even have thought this kind of stuff was possible in renpy.
