Is there a way to delete accounts?

I don't know what I'm doing here, anymore.

Pretty much everything in the world of tech that brought me joy is dead, or dying. I imagine PTerm'll go offline, soon, and that'll be it for me.
None of the stuff I've learned tacks in 7 or 8. I don't have the life left in me to relearn everything.
Every conversation about 'AI' - or iterative theft - makes me furious, and when I try to talk about it, people are like 'no, you just don't get it, old man.'
Like I didn't live through eight successive waves of newbie cargo-cultists.
And I just don't know how to put my heart's words into my explanations, if people would even listen. It's done.
There's no point.

But I don't want to be a tetchy jerk who complains about the world, the people in it.
I'm already far too misanthropic as it is. Nobody here deserves having to put up with that.
So, I'd rather go out on my own terms.
Apparently, however, I can't even find the account deletion request.

I don't want to delete posts in case there's anything I've posted that's useful to users, but I think it's about time for me to go.
Is it possible to delete an account, without deleting any potentially useful comments?
