Sparkling Horizon Studios is currently developing a Sci-Fi Fantasy visual novel called Arkhure to Atlas.

The title is a play on "Earth to <name>", as the story takes place on Arkhure, a world where deities are entrusted with shaping the future. The plotline follows Atlas, one of many gods who's responsible for bringing direction to their followers' lives.

Features of the game include:
- An expected length of between 40k-50k words
- 8 character storylines that are influenced by your decisions
- 4 potential endings for Atlas
- A soundtrack tailored to everyone in the lineup
- 50+ illustrations to fit the mood of every scene

At the moment, we are looking for a co-writer, an editor, and a programmer.

You can read more about the concept and characters in our project overview:

There's a lot of different pride flags used in this document, so I'd like to address that we didn't purposely go in trying to incorporate as many as possible. Most of our team is LGBTQ+ in some way, and this is reflected through the world of Arkhure's open gender constructs. Characters were written as they were felt to be. It was only when we wanted to include flags for plot-relevant character identities that we realized what a diverse cast we accidentally made. In the end, we decided to display everyone's flags so other LGBTQ+ people would also feel represented.

I feel it's important to acknowledge this because:
1. We do not want this to come across as queerbaiting or using identities just to have them.
2. Since we have writing and editing positions open, we want to make sure volunteers are confident in their ability to work with these characters.
3. Anyone interested in joining should also be aware that we have a very LGBTQ+ team and cast.

Along similar lines, the way Atlas communicates with their followers is very plural-coded, but not to the degree where knowledge of plural systems is required of the potential co-writer or editor. Regardless, be aware that a good portion of our team is part of a plural system, which will impact the way we communicate about the project. Also, take note that Atlas' "telepathic conversations" use Nighten's message system, so programmers should be prepared to work with this code.

Once complete, Arkhure to Atlas will be free to download, but an optional "name your price" will be available to put towards future projects. If you'd like to be compensated because of this, please inform us of your rates. We will do our best to work with them.

If you are interested in this project, you may message us here, @thehorizons on Discord, or in an email to sparklinghorizonstudios@gmail.com. We'd appreciate if you would send samples of your work or past projects you've been a part of when you reach out.

Thank you all for your time.
