​Morning, guys! What's up?I've read your comments. First of all, thank you very much for helping me to think of a solution/giving me your honest opinions! *bows*

After a lot of thinking and contemplating the pros/cons, I've decided to go on with steam launch. ​Piracy is a problem that exists for a long time and even though I'm dismayed, I agree that it's a risk that I should take if I want Bermuda to reach more people. 

I'm planning to pay the steam fee & start working on the posters/images this weekend. There is much to re-learn. You see, I have goldfish memory; I already forgot about what depot is and how to add 'achievement' system ^^; Luckily, I've found a document that is quite detailed & will definitely help me with the process of uploading from Ren'Py to Steam: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1La4 ... lrc0cpbeo6

Do tell me if you have better document though! If things go well, I should be able to release Bermuda somewhere at late December? The funny thing is I also released Winged Ones at December--is this fate? lol, in any case, let's continue working hard as usual! >:D

Hi, guys! What's up?
Last week was great for me! Steam gave me a fright when I was trying to pay the steam fee and an error popped up, but it turned out okay x'D

I did the required banners, trailers, and submitted Bermuda's store page for review:

Currently, I'm working on the achievements' images. I'm worried the most about whether the achievement system will work or not, so I'm crossing my fingers ^^;

I will also try to upload the game build with the Zipping technique. I heard it's easier to do that if your game is less than 2GB. I'm avoiding Steam SDK for now because the document I found doesn't cover it--I also have forgotten how to use it, so... let's hope it works T_T later, after I successfuly uploaded the build, I will need some help with beta-testing for Windows, Mac, & Linux. ​

If you're interested, please comment below your email address & which build you want to test. I will need around 6 people who can test with considerably quick response/feedback so I can quickly fix the problems that may pop up!

Hi, guys! What's up?
I'm here with some news ^^; both good and bad

I've finished the achievement system & submitted Bermuda's storepage, gamebuild, & artbook DLC to Steam, but after waiting for a week, this is what they gave me:


C'mon Steam! :') They fail me because Bermuda's Logo doesn't feature the entire game name!
I mean, look:


"Nusantara: Bermuda Triangle". I didn't write the "Triangle", but you can see it there! Have some creative spirit! :'D

Because of this, I've re-submitted by re-naming my game into "Nusantara: Bermuda". And now, we wait for a week again... the wait is torture. I want to quickly test the game & the achievement system Q_Q Here's hoping Steam doesn't nitpick my logo again. They've become more strict than before!

Btw I'm still accepting people who want to test Bermuda on Steam with Linux/Mac~

How did your week go? I hope it's better than mine, because I was so busy, I've only able to catch my breath today x_x

The reason being:

I was really stressed last week because I thought the intellectual property they're talking about is the music BGM, so I provided them with multiple screenshots about me getting the music composers' permissions--I even contacted Kevin Macleod himself to ask for license/advice.

But lo and behold--turns out the problem all along is the Peter Pan poster in Maya's Bedroom Background Image

With that said, I immediately took the poster down and replaced it with some motivational quotes poster from public domain. I had some trouble updating the game build, but in the end, I managed to update it along with adding the DLC Artbook. I've never worked so fast in my life lol. ​The artbook is not showing up during testing but I'll try it again after Bermuda is released on Steam.

​But the good news is: The beta testers worked hard and the result is Bermuda worked flawlessly on Linux VM, Windows, Macbook M1-M3! ​There will be a red ribbon saying "it may not open", but if you install Bermuda anyway and try to open it, it'll open!

I'm very grateful and filled with appreciation for the Beta Testers ^///^
I kept all the screenshots you gave me for documentation and Steam accepted it. They now know Bermuda worked on all OS!

Cheers and here's hoping Steam will now approve Bermuda's game build!

SURPRISE! After shedding some tears and blood, Bermuda is finally released on Steam!
Now, before we jump head first into playing, I have a few important things to tell both old and new players!

Important Note:

1. For those who have played the game before through lemmasoft or itch.io, some of your progress may be shown in the Steam version due to the persistent data files saved in your computer. You may find that the encyclopedia and CG gallery are pre-filled and your old save files may display. This can be solved by finding any Nusantara save files on your %APPDATA% RenPy folder and deleting them before installing the Steam version.

2. Through Beta testing on multiple Macbooks, I found out that Nusantara: Bermuda works alright on Macbook M1-M3! You might see a red ribbon saying "it may not open", but install it anyway and you'll see that you can play it just fine~

3. While Steam is still learning about this game, please be patient if there's an error or if the Achievement system is not working normally. It should unlock soon and if there's a problem, I will do my best to promptly fix it and post an update on the situation!

4. Bermuda will hold a 20% off launch discount on Steam for a week of celebreation--just like Winged Ones did before -^.^)/
Collected funds will be used for future projects development.

How did your week go? Personally, I'm mentally tired ​​

Office work has been really busy and I almost forgot to add Bermuda's "Walkthrough + Sticker pack" to Steam! Fortunately, littlegal100 reminded me so thank you very much for that! m(_ _)m *bows*

Most of the time, I was preparing the Steam Store for this DLC, and then Steam suddenly put me into a cooldown when I repeatedly tried to update the game build to test the new DLC but I didn't receive the SMS authentication ^^; I was quite stressed out because Steam doesn't tell me when exactly the cooldown ends (I was terrified when one of the answers in steam community forum said someone got stuck for more than a month!)

I was only able to breathe when the cooldown finished in 24 hours. But then, I had to change my phone number in order for the SMS authentication to work again!

So yes, I'm tired
I wasn't even able to make any progress with the notes for my next project. I had the rough idea for the new bachelors but not the complete story plot.

With that said, may I ask for a permission for a week off please? ​I'd like to take this time to rest and think some more about the story plot for my new projects. If possible, I'd like to have the (very) rough plot ready before I post the poll >_<
