What sort of other effect would you want to see? I've never much considered or seen anything else, actually. I wonder if it's already something doable with the right know - how.

This is a late reply but the fade in effect you see some vns use in their games. I did get one working on my game by tampering with an old plug in since the creator behind it had since been inactive for quite some time. It's a temporary fix as renpy updates often enough for something to break. That's the nature of software I suppose.

I'm starting to feel like my operating system is the source to all my woes when it comes to certain renpy bugs. I'm using windows 11 and a lot the issues i had seemed to be linked to using it while renpy worked fine on windows 10.
