I was really annoyed by the process of signing up here...but just looking at the guestbook it suddenly seems much more necessary

Online, I go by Nitrous (or this name) these days when I choose to be found, had so many handles and nicks since the net was text I don't even remember then all.

Those days are behind me...but old habits die hard, and so do people entirely exposed in the internet in my experience. These days I just want to game and code, or code games, when i'm not doing PC repair or working on my rig.

Sadly I have to admit I don't even know what game the joke on the first page is from since I wasn't much for VNs back then...but i'm a sucker for that kind of thing, so outdated joke or not...

Hold the mushrooms, I'm 50/50 on the pineapple pizza debate, boxers always, and your free to ask anything else personal that doesn't involve tracking or credit cards and you'll get an answer--sometimes without even asking  no shame

Me and a friend from another forum recently started working on a VN, obviously with me being the dev...lack of a devoted artist and having absolutely no skills of my own kept my previous projects low-key in small circles, so no sites, no trail, nothing that would be well know to the public before this.

I been coding as a hobby for like 25yrs, more low level and desktop in C/C++ than anything...so python and ren'py are a different universe for me--but i'm learning.

If I can help someone, I will...but i'm probably gonna be perstering the veterans first for a time

Get used to seeing me around, even if i'm not active consistently...this seems to be the place to give and get ren'py help and I never stop learning something once I start, so your stuck with me one way or another.

Nitrous checking in, i'll see you all around the forums.

Hello, I'm Bloom! I live in the US and am an artist/writer about to start working on my first VN project(with gay women).. for the itch.io SWAK game jam... so we'll see how that goes lol. (there's no way I'm getting it done in time, but at least I'll have fun trying?)

First question: I love mushrooms! A lot!

Second question: No comment.

Hey all! UK based queer solo game developer and musician Borealis here~

I'm here to expand my social circle in the indie dev world, and support creators as I make my own creative journey! Also I can't tell you how valuable Lemmasoft has been in helping me find solutions to pesky Ren'Py code issues, so I thought it was about time I actually made an account 😁 I've released 3 visual novels currently, and will be making more soon. I also compose game soundtracks on commission, so feel free to DM me if your game needs some perfectly tailored tunes~

You can find my games here: https://linktr.ee/venusimprobabledream
And my audio portfolio/booking here: https://borealismusic.carrd.co/

Oh, and yes, I do like mushrooms. And my underwear is... *checks* black and white dogtooth pattern. You're welcome 😂

Howdy good people,

Here's the Netherware Entertainment Team, a couple of friends from Spain that we love to create "neo-retro" games of adventure (fantasy, contemporary) and mixing with genres like arcade, survival-horror, puzzles... We have several titles finished a survival-horror saga, an arcade-adventure and a strategy + puzzle + card game.

Coming soon we're going to start a new game and we love to talk about our games piece by piece, showing all creative process in our YT channel.

If you wanna know more, you can feel free to check our official website: https://netherwareentertainment.com/

Thanks, and see you soon!

Other stuff: elaborating on why i dont have a singular name, im pretty finnicky and tend to change stuff a lot if i dont like it anymore so its a bit struggley :") im trying to find a name that i'll stick with as a VN dev, so hopefully that'll come soon. i also love VNs!!! my fav genres are romance, (body)horror, yandere, and a lot more!!
