Is it so much about bandwidth as it is about DeviantArt servers being slow? I mean... DA has never been fast for me either.

DA tends to be on the slow side. I think it's because of all the traffic.... Then again, I haven't been on DA for awhile now so take this comment as you will.

Slow deviantart is very slow here in England, too. It's probably not a problem with all of our connections, then. Although the internet here sucks.

One thing to try would be to speedtest using a server located in the US. I'm wondering if the transpacific link is what's clogged.

dA tends to be especially sluggish for me during the weekends, at an hour where a lot of people are bound to be active... Otherwise, it just takes maybe one second (which is still slow, I think) for everything to load.

My experience is that sometimes, dA is just arse-slow. Probably because they waste so much time on "user friendly" interfaces and ridiculous Flah ads (*grumblegrumblecrankyoldstandardscurmudgeon*). And their traffic. But I have similar issues, though my connection is slower - deviantArt is just unreasonably slow sometimes.

I've been having some problems too with accessing deviantart from home. No problems from the office however. I did some looking around and it seems a lot of PLDT users are experiencing this problem as well... @_@

Eh, DA is huge. I've always had the longest load time on that site, some days I can't even get on at all. I think they need to start clearing out unused accounts...
