Summer Ballad

Story: You play as a Haru Tachimiya, a person who has no more will to live. He hates the place he lives in, and thinks he has purpose left to live. Until.....He met Narue. Narue is the opposite of Haru. She wants to live life to the fullest and wants to fulfill her only dream: To participate in a school play. However, this is near impossible as Narue is very sick and that no one is interested in doing a school play. With the school arts/drama festival coming up, will they be able to fulfill Narue's dream and find a purpose in Haru's life?

Gameplay: The usual. Little player interaction and you choose choices to get the desired ending. However, there will also be 1-3 minigames available to play.

If anyone has anymore suggestions towards the story plot, please post here. I need as much ideas possible as I am just starting to develop the story! Criticism are also welcome~

Offhand, I would suggest two things:

1) On forum threads, write the name as Summer Ballad. Writing it as S u m m e r B a l l a d makes it very hard to search for the name.

2) I wouldn't promote this as being based on Clannad. It's one thing to have a game inspired by another game... but saying it's based on it opens you up to claims of copyright infringement by Key. And since this game seems like more than a simple copy of Clannad, there's no need to tempt fate like that.
