Aw, screw lineart... I love your sketchy style. I do like clean lines, but I think people place too much importance on them; sketchy lines are very raw and emotive, and are every bit as "good" as clean lines on principle. I think they look great.

Not usually for VNs though. XD

@ Fox: I'm honored that you actually came into my thread, I've seen you on several RMXP sites...I knew I recognized you somewhere.

You have a good point there ^^; Sketchy is a lot harder to work into a game. But there's still a point between clean lines and totally sketchy; if you've seen the Sukisyo games at all, the lines are still very rough, but they're some of my favourite VN artwork ever. Gives the games a very gentle, intimate style compared to clean black lines (which is good because they're very porny :p).

Oh, somebody from the RMXP community? Cool! I had to stop working on mine, except in concept, because my demo ran out and I can't afford the full version XP I'll get it one day though.

I hope you finish your demo soon though. I want to see more XD. As for sketchiness I feel the same about that. But it's usually frowned upon in most art circles that I'm in because it's not really distinct...and with my style you can't really tell what's what. XD

I like it.

If you really want us to be picky... ;)

The face appears to be straight on while the neck and ear and offset of the face make it look
like were looking at the person with their head slightly tilted...
I'd maybe move the jawbone (close to the ear) down a little and away from the ear (left) a bit.
also the eyes maybe seem a bit wide apart.

(Again thats just being picky)

This last one seems to have a slight jump in quality :) But I can't pinpoint why ^^; Maybe the shading.

@sirdude-Hm...the usual rule of thumb is one eye for width. XD I'm not asking you to be picky but thanks. I've been noticing that a lot of people on this forum tend to only comment on the really good looking pieces of art or art from those who are regulars/well known/well-liked. But that's just me.

@Monele-Yeah...I don't usually shade...plus this is my first semi-realism piece.

Art contains massive amounts of moe.

I approve of this.

Your art is so beautiful *-* It has that bishonen-appeal to it, so lovely <3

Well, I didn't judged much the art pieces since I'm really stuck on they. xD

Though I like sketchy things, I can't bring myself to like my artworks (that are way more sketchy than yours, so I waste a lot of time cleaning and so, but I can't make really clean and stylish linearts that would be actually suitable for games and such i.i).

And... just something I was wondering. Do you draw more for yourself or for others?

:D I really love your style, very intense, very "mirror of the soul"-like.

Thanks to all XD

And I usually do my art pieces huge then shrink them down and correct them.
