There's only about 4-5 titles with fluff in them that I know of, so...

Most of what I write is pretty sweet and light romance, but I haven't really delved into the world of the super cute pink sparklies. I guess I wouldn't mind writing some if I could come up with a decently original story, but I don't think I could illustrate such cuteness. o.o

..yeah. That's my option. I don't have much interest in light and fluffy stuff, never did. It just doesn't work for me most of the time. My favorite animes are Higurashi and Jigoku Shoujo.. that says a bit about my tastes. ^^'

And you could always have cute and sparkly character designs and lighthearted moments in a darker story. Paradoxally enough I don't think I can pull off dark stories too well. x.x

I'm in the process of creating a universal GAR feel to all my future projects.

I like MOE like any fangirl or boy, but I don't think I can pull MOE off based on my experiences, which are mainly hardcore GAR experiences.

Since you'll need a real consistent set of rose-colored glasses to compose stories told from the perspective of innocent children where good is good and evil is evil.

You'll need someone good at writing childrens books, not an otaku. Sure an otaku can come up with that stuff, but if it's a typical 20 or 30-something male writing about adolescent cuteness, that's just... not... right. You'll need a girl to write and draw for those kinds of works, and most western girls into anime would rather work on Boys Love than MOE.

Moe, eh? Yeah, we need more moe. You can't have a good story without at least a few elements of light and airy. Just doesn't feel right without them. However, I've given up on trying to write pure light and fluffy stuff, stuffs up the sinuses.

I am about as far from a boys love fan as you could get. But moe things make me melt. ^_^;;

-Magical girl. Save the world.
-Fantasy world. Make friends with fairies or something. @.@
-Moe moe moe. Slice of life. Solve cute problems like finding a missing cat or making cookies.
