Hi everyone! I'm Korkofilaki and I'm 23. I'm from Greece, but don't worry, my English is pretty good. I've played some of the wonderful games developed by people here (Elven Relations was AWESOME - but I still don't have Yurika's best ending T_T) and I said "What the heck, let's give this a try!". I don't expect that I'll be making a lot of stuff, and I suspect that most of them would be fanworks (I just love drawing fanart) since I can't write good enough scenarios. But who knows what time may bring!

Hey, my name is Toki! I'm 23 and from the United States on the Left coast :D I really love all the great topics and information I've read on this site so far. I've been looking into making my own VN for about a month now and I'm currently working on art and a script for a game I'm hoping to make on Ren'Py, although it's not too serious since I'm trying to get a feel for how to go about things before I get into something more original. Everyone on the forums seem to be really helpful and have wonderful ideas, I hope you all create reality from your dreams! Uhm, mushrooms aren't a good thing for me to have unless it's in stir fry, and my underwear is for my husband to know only :P

Hi guys,

I'm Codexus, 33, coder

A few days ago I saw renpy mentioned on deviantart and was interested. It seems really nice. I'm particularly impressed by how neatly it's packaged and easy to use out of the box. As I said I'm a coder and I've already made games with pygame so I expected to have to install the latest python and all the required dependencies but there was no need for that, everything is included. And there is even an interactive demo/tutorial.

Mostly I think that trying to make a visual novel is going to be a fun way to force myself to try to improve my miserable drawing skills.

Also I see there is a friendly competition going on, I'll see what I can do about that. It could be what I need to get myself started.

I'm a newbie. >_< Me and my friend IRL are already making a game, but it won't have any choices, I'm guessing.

hello~
I'm Kxela, better known as a webcomic artist online than anything else ^^
I've been interested in making a VN for a while, and one ay I sat down and tested
all the VN programs I downloaded and found reply the most tolerable of them all.

I'm pretty much almost done with my first one, its based off a flash fiction piece
I wrote in a short story class I took. I wont be posting a WIP thing but it should
be done soon enough :3
first ones practice, i hope to make a nice full game type visual novel in time.

as for myself- I'm 21, going to the Art Institute of fort Lauderdale (animation major, graduating this summer)
I'm also Japanese and Korean but born and raised in the US :3
I have my arts online at deviantart under Kxela, and my website is kxela.com :D

(Alright... Take a deep breath...)

Hi~ My name is Jonas, i'm 20 years old and i come from Denmark. My interrests include Music (From classic to Heave Metal), Games, anime & manga, 3D modeling (Though i am still a beginner), cooking, Coding (Still a beginner), Technology (Robots, androids & others), Spirits & other paranormal activities. I've known and used Ren'py for a very long time, but i haven't been able to make a game mostly because of sudden lack of interrest.

I don't really have anything else to say other than i have my deepest respects for this forum, and that i'm happy to finally join :D
