All of the important info from my post is still there, and the response was exactly what I was looking for, so no harm done, PyTom. In fact, I didn't even notice until I read the follow-up post. 8)

The last time it happened was on another post of mine. That time, I had no idea what was going on until PyTom explained what had happened. And, from PyTom's comment, it looks like it had happened before then as well.

Accidents do happen. Another friend of mine was a moderator on a message board for a while, and said that mis-clicking the "edit" button instead of the "quote" button was an extremely common "mod-stake". ;)
