Of course. As IT expert I know what a machine cycle is.

It is the time a computer uses for executing a single atomic operation.
(If I am not confusing from english concepts...)

The person below me programmed in Assembler at least once!

Normally, the machine cycle is considered to be the steps required to evaluate an instruction. It needs to be fetched from memory, decoded, and then executed. Of course, on modern machines, this is all pipelined, so it's all going on at once. On old machines, they didn't even have a second ALU to increment the program counter, so they couldn't fetch and execute an instruction at once!

Kids these days! I programmed my PC in assembler because I couldn't afford a C compiler, back when I was in high school. It's good experience, since you learn what's fast and what's not.

The person below me has built a multiplier circuit out of discrete logic. (I'll also accept an ALU that has lookahead-carry.)

The person below me is going to write a Shoujo Attack level guide and submit it to Ezzetabi, so he can post it here, and so BL will consider making a Shoujo Attack 2- with a level editor

um... I don't really wanna know about the whole "sent the tutorials to yourself" thing... it'd drive me nuts.

where were we... ah yes, JP Kanas... I only have three katakana calligraphs (is that a word?) memorized: "Ha", "I", and "E". with it, I can write "Hai" and "Iie" ("Yes" and "No", respectively) in katakana. (I also think I know the Kanji that translates to "down" and "up", but then again, maybe I was playing Rockman 3 (JP version) too long...)

Soon... soon...

I think I actually forgot some Japanese katakana, which is no good considering I studied Japanese like a monk for two years.

I have one in my basement, along with marios 1 and 2, duck hunt, and a few more games for it. I collect obsolete hardware, like Commodores and Apple 2s.

The person below me can guess the name for Ren'Py 4.8.5, due out tonight if all goes well.

"Cooper"?

speaking of renpy, Zeta's browser decided to play a late april's fool joke on him. when he DL'd renpy 4.8.4 to send to Silverfox, his browser, firefox, renamed it to "renpy-5.8.4". we had the feeling that you couldn't have possibly released that version. we were right. the files inside said it was version 4.8.4, so we fixed the filename when he sent the file to her.

the person below me has played one of the "Dancing onigiri" flash games (here's a few of them.)
