I enjoyed this game! It was cute and fun, and the art was beautiful, and the world was fun.
And I thought Frain and Amelia were both super cute! :O I especially loved his mermyd design!
Random guess about the later arcs that might cause people to hate me:

Are Frain and Kazreal(? Sorry, his name escapes me...) half brothers?

Hey, really nice work! Super polished and very professional.
I really enjoyed the story - the protagonist is likable as are the other characters. I'm genuinely interested in finding out what's going to them!
The art is beautiful, but doesn't seem quite finished. The line art and coloring seems a bit...rough at this point. Maybe that's for effect, but it threw me off a bit, especially with your fancy polished 3D backgrounds.
Music was great! Really awesome choices of tracks. Totally set the mood and everything. And just little things in the game I really appreciated, like the map and all the CGs. Very nice touches.
Can't wait for the next part!

Ah yeah the art's gonna be more smoother and polished in the compiled arc version. I've had trouble doing the lineart >.>' and I'm switching to cell shade cg in the future instead of my painterly style. XD Hopefully it might turn out better. Thanks so much on your feedback.
I hope you enjoy the story in the next ARC!

I played it recently...yesterday XD;
It's giving me high hopes. The writing is pretty solid too, even if it's just the beginning.
But is it going to be all kinetic?

From what I know so far, it indeed will just be all kinetic. That COULD change for the compiled version, but I wouldn't bet on it.lepapillonrouge wrote: I played it recently...yesterday XD;

Re: Aquae ~Crystal Clear Waters~ Arc I - Summer Lights v1.0
Finally, I got to it. =D
I thought it was nicely made. The story thus far was charming and sweet and I honestly felt like I was as happy as the characters were during the festival. The characters are well made and had a lot of thought into. Getting into the story was smooth, and the flow of the story was well written. My favorite scene in this Arc had to be when Kaizarel was fiddling with that flytrap. XD
There were a few spelling errors and grammar mistakes in the download I had for the Mac. For some reason, it was all during the first beach scene so you might want to take a look into that. I have a list of the errors below.
The artwork, I thought, was very appealing. A few of the sprites were pixelated or didn't feel bold enough in the lines, but I think the sprite of Kaizarel is the most well-done. For the CG scenes (or whatever they're called), they need more work, but I'm sure you don't need me to tell you that. ^_~
Here's my list below: (Lines are blocked just in case it would be considered a spoiler)
1. Spelling error here
2. Usage and spelling error here
3. Usage error here
4. Grammar and spelling error here
5. Spelling error here?

Instictively I touched the diamond-shaped pendant that I wore upon my neck.
(Instictively should be "Instinctively")2. Usage and spelling error here
Its cold and smooth silver surface reflected against the high sun's glare. And the Imbrancht crest had been engraved onto it's metalic surface.
(it's metalic surface should be "its metallic surface")3. Usage error here
Now I looked at the sky, the sun overhead hand risen high above me, and it's rays were beating down upon me.
(it's rays should be "its rays")4. Grammar and spelling error here
That was more vauge then I hoped for. There were many nations on the mainland. His accent was thick and one I had never heard before.
(vauge then should be "vague than")5. Spelling error here?
Kaizairel!
(Kaizairel should be "Kaizarel"?)a.k.a. DragonfaeryYume on dA

Oh darn, I thought I caught all of those lol. Thanks for catching those errors! And I'm glad that you enjoyed it. The flytrap scene was one of my favs too.

And now it's down. Rapidshare says it needs to be moved to a collector's account or a premium account, or re up-loaded.Sakurazaki wrote:Linux version up!

Thanks for re-uploading it.
It was quite interesting. I'm looking forward to Arc II.
My favorite character is definitely Ryrui.
