Congrats on your demo release, shirow! I've been looking forward to this, so I pounced on the chance to play it. It is actually really nicely done and I found the whole demo to be very entertaining. There's a great deal put into the general UI stuff too ( but if that History Window isn't a disappointment... hope this gets cleaned up ). The English script is actually really well done for the most part, better than some of the stuff here or the translated projects for sale by, say, MangaGamer, but it also isn't without its flaws. Line breaking is a big deal which can hopefully get fixed, and some lines have far too many quotation marks. And it seems that the radio scenes weren't looked over, because the English there isn't as strong as the main story.

Otherwise, a very solid effort everywhere else! Congrats again, and I'll be looking out for more news on this! Keep it up!

What do you mean by the "radio"? Do you mean music or do you mean voice acting? Or is it something that's in the story?

I think you might need a proofreader. I'm looking at the second screenshot and I already see a grammar mistake. It should be something like "Um, Haruka's very cute and energetic, so I want to work hard not to let her down!" And even with the grammar fixed, that sentence is still very awkward and fake-sounding.

The interface does look pretty though. Can this be played on Vista? I know nothing about Kirikiri.

By "Radio" there's an option to listen to, well, the radio, at the end of every week. It's really just a little UI window with a Play/Stop button that'll start a prerecorded audio stream that simulates live radio ( with DJ-ing and everything ), but best of luck getting the most out of most of it, since the streams are predominately Japanese without any subtitles or translations... not that it isn't amusing.

Kirikiri should run without a hitch for Vista users, so says a friend who tried it, but you might need to set your locale settings to Japanese to get it to run if you encounter problems ( or use good ol' AppLocale ).

I think it's quite fine considering the context: A seiyuu being interviewed about an anime character she provides the voice for. The script as a whole is actually pretty solid, and it is obvious that most of it has gone by a proofreader or skilled translator when you run into the not-so-pretty scenes ( mostly involving the radio and not affecting the main story at all ).

I don't think the context can justify the linebreak error though.
The rest is left as an exercise for the reader.

It wouldn't be delta if he didn't complain... plus, making linebreak to kirikiri is very hard task, or you end with something like insani did.... ugh....

I think this game looks better than 99.9% of the games here, happy? That does not change the fact that correct linebreaks are not optional in English.

it's commercial game to be, only demo
and it's fully voiced, but hardly any huge size in 09 anyways

Sorry my english is poor.

Thank you very much to reply to our games.

Now in japan, Hentai games is very hard regulation from other contries.
but this game is not adult game.

I want to play this game for many other country people.

I think line breaking is our new subject. For Kirikiri, line breaking is hard task,
and from now on, We want to translation in other language(french, german,Italy,Español) if we can.

Plz tell me the other advice, thanks.

Der Tor: For example, hit the tsundere link, then click koenchu_sora_demo.exe next to ダウンロード.

shirow: I'm enjoying the game, and the radio. The voice acting is really nice. Though かなで annoys me ;) 乗れますです! makes my head explode.

Just played it today. Thanks for sharing with us a demo with built-in translation.

Overall, it has been an interesting read. It is not a game where every girls is the usual good-mannered date-able target. That alone made it refreshing for me.
Perhaps it is a translation's mistake, but why would Souta said he knows nothing about anime(When he is into robot anime) during the first meeting with Himeno?

Name of Kanade's pet dog. The names used are both 'Jinbei' and 'Kanbei'. Is it a translation mistake or there are actually two dogs?

Sometimes, I notice misplaced character portraits on speeches that do not belong to them.

During the last part of the demo in the recording room, there is a character's name that has not been translated (I believe it reads "sudafu")
That said, that is a rather satisfying demo. Looking forward to the completed.
