I was looking for a sort of "downtown" look. So if you want to put some kind of shop or restaurant name on the sign, that'd be great.

As for the pizzeria, it does look out of place. :\ I don't think it needs an obvious light source, especially because we can't see the ceiling, so we can assume there's lights up there.

I totally agree carosene, I will leave out that lamp and I'm going to add some things, /ic/ had some very very good critique for me and my conceptart.org sketchbook has been a little slow on the uptake. I've been really getting into digital painting lately, it really does something for me. It's scratching an itch I haven't scratched in several years now. It's like coming home something very familiar and comfortable.

Oh, I know! The name of the pizza place! Um... what makes a good pizza place name? LOL. Oh, no wait, the front of that building is completely different so that's right out... um...

Um, about the prison scene: Shall I use prisonroom3.jpg as the background, then have the sprite, and then overlay prisoncell.png on top of the sprite?

edit: I did that with a placeholder sprite and it looks great!

I'm going to do that for you so you don't have to. So one will be an event CG zoomed in (I'm working at 2X resolution PNGs 1600x1200) with the sprite and you can have a BG with the sprite in it and an empty cell if necessary.

Really? You don't think the lamp fits? But it's all painted in now. I didn't fork the PNG so I could revert it. I think the lighting on the bulb might be too cold—I need to make it yellow.

Haha, sure why not , i just finished two HARD EXAMS, that's why i don't have the time , LOL...but i will have it by then, maybe i'll go draw tom ...right after i finished another illustration,..cause i need some money
