Granted, my art style was heavily influenced by Aya Nakahara of the Lovely Complex fame. ^^; She's my idol...it was because of her that I am now leaning towards semi-realistic (or realistic/manga-mix) kind of art than, say, your typical shoujo art (i.e. very big eyes like Arina Tanemura).

Still, Chika Umino is definitely one of the many artists I admire, so hearing you say that makes me blush. I really wish I could be as good as them someday, but as of now, my art skill is very beyond the mediocre level....;_;

At this point, I'm going to have to redo the event trees from scratch. The point system is horribly borked, and I'm adding a new and totally secret, only in the commercial release romantic path anyway, so I need to rewrite and streamline it.

Someone earlier advised me to make the game mellower, to add more mundane details about Talia's day to day life - including details about her transition. Fair enough; it's a good way to add length and depth to this game.

Art continues apace. Here's an Ethan design that I quite like.



This guy is based, very specifically, on someone I knew in college who was also awesome and a GM, one of those creative types that always had fifteen projects and plans for monetizing all of them you know, like me. He had a look that always reminded me of Alan Rickman's take on Severus Snape, who I referenced when making this picture. Basically, this is Snape if he had more friends than enemies growing up - much more laid back and friendly, but about as snarky and creative.

Hi are you still working on it? It's been a few years... I really hope you get somewhere with it, I'm also writing a VN with a trans lead, though it's sort of a secondary thing.

This is on the back burner while I finish up the first major story arc of Bliss Stage. After that, yes, hell yes, hell fucking yes. I want to complete this.
