Lucky you! I have yet to play the 4th yet. (I lack both a wii and a japanese copy of the game. ;; )
It is really hard to find, I actually got lucky it was in a store near by, used. Otherwise I would have had to order it online. which might have been a bit more pricey.

I am thinking about starting a collection of rare NES games... even some of the regular NES games are so rare that they are priced well beyond a 1000 bugs, and their collectors value will only multiply with time... :)

So far i only got one, but that's already worth a hundred bugs... i will try to get some more, although i probably won't be able to afford any that are priced at a 1000 bugs :(

I have an original, still functional copy of Earthbound. I could probably make so much money off of it, but I really just can't bring myself to sell it. It doesn't help that it's one of my favorite games, either.

Provide an example. What would a super, extremely, mega rare one be?

Bubble Bath Babes, Cheetahman II and Bubble Bobble Part 2 would all be perfect examples of super extremely rare NES games (sadly they are so rare that i can't get my fingers on them  )

The rarest NES games that i HAVE are: Little Samson, Noah's Ark (the only officially released NES game with a religious theme) The Smurfs (CIB), Ufouria and for Game Boy Mr. Do!, But i am also selling all of them on Ebay (i need money right now :D )

What i think i will keep is the entire NES Mega Man series complete in Box (i haven't got all parts yet, but i am working on it :D )

^ I second that one, but then again, I do have a MOST precious of all (One to rule them all)

Shadow of the Colossus, 'tis not that hard to find, but it's a masterpiece I will never forget. One of the few Games that will actually make you cry.

Oh and my Vagrant Story for the PSOne, I wouldn't take a brand new PS3 for it

Not my favourite game, but one of my most precious is Zelda's Adventure of the Philip's CDi. Took me quite a while to track down a copy. Though, my copy is a little prone to skipping, which makes completing it ten times harder than normal. (The voice files sometimes get stuck in a loop, which means you have to restart the game if it occurs in a section where you can't open the menu. Like, say, just before/after a boss fight.) I'm partway through a Let's PLay of it on youtube, but I'm on hiatus (due to massive frustration at said problem).

Ico is good, really good, it's in my top 10, but SotC is much superior.

I adore my copy of Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil. It's fairly hard to find, and it's an awesome game to boot!

It's better WITH Ico, Ico being the sequel and all.

And explaining that ending.
