Date Warp (GxB, commercial - discount details)
Presented in affiliation with Spiky Caterpillar:
Five days ago, Janet left her dormitory to go on a date. Her very first date, with a nice young man with a good reputation.
She never came back.
What went wrong? Where did she go? And will she ever be seen again?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvLPA1qO134 - opening video
http://www.hanakogames.com/datewarp.shtml - game webpage with demo downloads and character profiles
5 male characters
11 endings
And a lot of secrets.
This is not an adventure game in the sense that Fatal Hearts was, but it does include a very small untimed minigame element to give you a break from reading.
The demos should be uploaded now; please let me know if any of the links don't work. (And say hi to one of my artists, who has just joined the forum! )
I'm running a special discount offer for 35% off; for details visit my forum. (Or ask me in PM if you really don't want to sign up for another forum, that's fine.)

I love the demo. Especially the way I get to make choices in the game. Hard for me to pick a favorite character though.

The demo is lovely. The decision making is really innovative, and I enjoyed it quite a bit (I like puzzles). The story is very mysterious, and the characters are all very interesting. Alben is my clear and unerring favorite. I think it's the hair. XD

every path has two outcomes (three for the one case with the special unlockable ending). When you get to the point where it tells you which character path you're on, you can save there, because the only choices that affect whether you get the good/bad ending for that path happen after that point. You don't need to worry about something you did at the very beginning of the game messing you up at the ending.

Bradley's path has three endings, one is the special unlockable one that you have to have reached most of the other endings before you can get. Until then, the possible outcomes of that path are
Janet runs away from the house, leaving Bradley behind
or Janet and Bradley both go together into the sparkly lights.

Re: Date Warp (GxB, commercial - discount details)
So I tried the demo (Mac and PC), and I had a question and an observation...
1. When I read in the original Date Warp thread that the decision-making would be different, I wasn't sure what to think. Eventually I began to wonder if it would resemble Sakura Wars 5, in which the main character's decisions are usually timed, and in which there's usually a quick time event (look at NPC's room/clothes/face, turn a knob, eat a sandwich...) The light switch puzzles in Date Warp are not timed, but they're *slightly* similar.
I felt the first light switch puzzle was challenging, but I slowly got the hang of them. My question is -- why are these necessary for every decision? Will the reason for this become apparent later in the story? Is this how Janet's mind works?
2. The plot so far reminds me of the musical/movie Brigadoon, but it's set in an ominous mansion, kind of like Nocturnal Illusion. (But unlike Nocturnal Illusion, this doesn't appear to be a mostly plotless NSFW visual novel.
