Colored Gabe looks good!
I do feel like his skin looks sort of... flat (as if he were wearing foundation?), but maybe it's just because Vivian's skin has some highlights to it and a little more color. I guess different people have different skin though.

Oh yeah, and I am eagerly awaiting Jeff's colored sprite. Very eagerly

We toned down Vivian's cheeks too. Here is a mockup (with borrowed background).

Gabe looks like he could use a little highlight on his nose, but even so, the art is absolutely, positively wonderful.

I'm really thrilled to see a VN done in this style. I think you're going to attract people who normally wouldn't play VNs to play yours.

Upping the saturation on the shadow color of his skin fixes the flat look. Is it just me or is his right arm really thin? I expect to poke his sleeve and watch it collapse because nothing is there. I like the way his hair is highlighted better though.

I'll have him mess around with the arm and I'll poke at the skin tone. I already adjusted the hair and eye color myself. ;D

It might take a couple days, he is working on another project right now.

His uh... his head/chin seems way too big for his body. x'D

Also, I can't tell what's going on with his hand. It looks like he's got it on his waist, but the way the jacket flows behind it seems... odd. Also, his front leg looks kinda funny.

...I suck at concrit. orz

Overall, I think the pose and the expression give him quite a bit of personality, and I really like his hair. U':

I think he looks quite awesome, though I'm gonna guess most female players are going to want a smaller, narrower chin. Your artist tends to draw a man's man, if that makes sense.

I don't see a problem with proportions, it seems to me that all the characters in the game lean towards the larger heads seen in comic art.

(Incidentally, may I ask what program you're using for the linework (or is it a straight scan)? It looks so pristine and I'm trying to figure out what software I need to clean up my messy drawings!!!!)

For me, it's not so much that his head is too big, but rather... his body is too small? Like, he seems a lot wispier than one would imagine after seeing just his head, y'know?
