I like the dialogue box, as it suits your style well. I think this can work with styles that are bright, simple, and cute, similiar to your own. ^.^

Excellent art! And I do really like how that sprite fits that background BTW, how do you get that effect on images? I've tried many times to get it but I can't find the way to correctly do it
(It reminds me of Higurashi no naku koro ni's backgrounds )

thinking about using your sprites in a projrct I'm planning. Should involve DSE, RPG and some other random elements

about the background, I'm more of a manga/anime style bg, but they mix well together, it actually feels like they belong together

Not bad, it's actually quite nice, since it's drawn by using mouse. Heck, I can't even draw using mouse nicely, let alone form a whole character.
