Great! I had a long battle with that explanation. Originally it was a paragraph or two longer because I took the time to explain exactly what the mission was about. I removed that to save space and add a little mystery but was worried people would think it was odd that the mission, the biggest event of the game, wasn't detailed. So, I'm happy to hear what's there is enough to be interesting ^^.

Currently I'm torn between "A Peaceful Break" and "An Accustomed Occasion": on the one hand, an open compass in the middle of untamed land--sounds like an adventurer to me! (As does "A Day Getting Started".) On the other hand, an elegant dining setup that appears abandoned--a mysterious person on the run, or somebody who runs late? They're all intriguing!
Neat. You did really well interrupting what they mean, I think you'll be pleased by the characters attached to those tables :].
goldenteaset wrote:Buffalo Seer looks like fun, particularly since they come across as eccentric to others. Their mask is a good combo of endearing and creepy!
Aaw, thanks. I was hoping they wouldn't come across as entirely creepy.
goldenteaset wrote:Trinette also looks like a force to be reckoned with--are her gun and poses meant to reference "The Man With The Golden Gun", by the way? Either way, nice!
You know at the time I was just thinking that'd be a nice look but now that you mention it, that was probably one of the reasons I thought a golden gun and such would look cool .
goldenteaset wrote:Do the tables count as interesting characters?
Haha, sure, if that's what made the biggest impression they can count.
I agree. It makes me happy to see more popping up.goldenteaset wrote:I love Steampunk, so I'm glad to see more VNs tackle it! It'll be interesting to see how Buffalo Seer, who seems to be both unfitting and fitting for an adventure, adapts and shows their skills. I'm also curious as to how their love interests will react to their "creepy-with-Normal-society" fashion sense/personality!
Once the characters are shown off I'll put up some more screenshots so people can start getting an idea of how Seer tends to interact with others~
