Just so everybody knows, I'll be releasing the first demo in a week or so from today, it ranges from the first to third days before the game begins to branch off into the separate routes

I'm curious as to whether or not this thread is still active. I can pump out some tracks for you that will be original and acceptable. The catch is The audio software I use is freeware (audicity) and my sound equipment is makeshift. If you are interested I can pump out a few basic scratch tracks for you to use. Please send me an email at lucasgaskill@aol.com, as I will not return to this thread. Also I recommend leaving an email for people to get back to you with instead of just using the forum reply, makes it easier to get in touch. Thank you for your time, hope the project isn't dead after all this time, hope to get a response soon.

The part of Vlad feeling stress of several girls falling for him reminded me of Touma from To Aru Majutsu no Index that you put in your main summary

Don't worry, unlike School Days, there's going to be no multiple cheating of women nor murderous death endings
:3

Yeah, it does kind of seem like that in retrospective.

Also this project isn't dead everybody, the progress is just really slow, with school and everything, but I'll have the first demo of this game out by the end of the year, so don't think this project is dying anytime soon :)

To prove my point, here's the current progress of everything

The game contains 1,564 screens of dialogue.
These screens contain a total of 16,374 words,
for an average of 10.5 words per screen.
The game contains 10 menus.

Now compare that to what I had put earlier in this thread, yes, plenty of progress has been made within these past few months and a lot more before the demo gets released.

Okay everybody, I'm now done with High School for the year, which means I'm officially in full-on writing mode.

So, expect more progress and for the Three-Day demo to be out by the end of this year/very early next year (First or Second Week)

Possibly the last update I'll post on it before the demo is released, which will be sometime between the end of the year and the first few weeks of Jan.

The game contains 1,921 screens of dialogue.
These screens contain a total of 19,595 words,
for an average of 10.2 words per screen.
The game contains 10 menus.

I'm glad that this is still being worked on. This forum needs more bxg games! BxG are going extinct... I can't wait for the demo. I hope it is good!

Ahaha, if you think bxg is going extinct, just check sites like Jlist! They're going strong! :D

In fact, Aselia the Eternal is a very good one that came out recently.

It feels really great to hear that, it really does.

But I must (begrudgingly) delay the release of the demo one more (and hopefully last) time, the gal in charge of music hasn't gotten me the tracks I needed, I've had a case of writers block trying to finish up a scene and the code was becoming buggy as hell!

But fear not! For the first "three-days" demo shall be around by Feburary! And to not hold myself to any commitment, no exact date has been planned, just expect it out by next month.

(And yes, it has taken me over a year to get a demo out, shut up I have my reasons!)

Sorry for the delay on it, but now I can safely say this:

"Welcome to the first demo of Our Hearts, Your Days, after what's seemed like an eternity in production, hopefully it'll be worth the wait."

Be warned now, not everything is complete, the backgrounds and main menu screens are all placeholders until further notice and there are only two OST tracks currently on there, sorry, but I just can't stand delaying this any further just for that.

I hope you all enjoy this first demo, because it's been hell to make.

Congratulations on pushing this out, Shadios. Editing your first post to add the link to the demo is a good idea, it will make it easier for people interested in playing it to find it.

I'm super busy right now, but I'll keep it safely in my disk and I promise I'll check it out in a couple of weeks.
