I didn't mean she doesn't need a tablet and she should just stick with a mouse. I was just saying that if financially she can't afford a tablet she can still make good art with the mouse, that was my point. As she mentioned in her last post she doesn't do a whole lot of drawing and it's more like her hobby, unlike the rest of us who are probably more hardcore artists drawing for hours on end. Yes the tablet does make drawing easier, faster, and is less stressful on the wrists because the repetitive clicking can damage your wrists (but that's like if you draw for 9 hrs everyday for months and years). I highly recommend getting a tablet if you're a hardcore digital artist. No the mouse is not a drawing tool you are right, but you can still use it to draw decent art. I was giving advice based on her situation.
I have some photoshop tutorials on my website that may help.
Which option part? To get to main options you need to right click anywhere on the picture, while the pen tool is selected. I'm not sure if it changed in the diff versions of PS though. but it should still be there?
Oh.. it's been a long time X_X Anyways, since I work turtle speed the only thing I have that's new are some fanarts. So please cirique them
This picture was kind of rushed... Since I tried to finish it in like an hour ;_;
I'm planning to color this pic which is why the eyes are like that <.<
So yeah, critique away~! ;D
I think your artworks look great! Although I do agree that your shading needs a bit of work. I'd offer some tips, but I am kinda the same as you... xD I just kind of experiment and try my best... lolz. If I find any good tutorials, I'll be sure to share. <3
@ JamesH: Thank you ^^
@ Kael: Thanks, and the second one would probably take me a while to color ;_; since I'm super slow...
@ Miss-Mae: I know... :'( I'm working on shading better (which I'm not really making any progress in...) What's killing me is the creases on clothes.. which, as you can see, I have no idea how to draw D;
To the general public who reads this:
Anyone have any folds+creases tutorial that worked for you? 'Cuz I saw quite a bit and nothing in my head clicked. X_X
A sprite that I just finished, barely even bother to add any creases since I majorly suck at them ;_; All critiques are welcome
My first time using SAI to color, though I only used SAI for part of it lol Anyways, the only complaint I have about it is why are the brushes to small?! D: And also... the mouse is so hard to control on SAI...

I downloaded a trail of SAI, uninstalled it though because I would forget to uninstall it when the trail was over and I found a freeware program instead.
Okay, it's been some time since I posted because I was busy and all... but now I'm back! XD I just finished coloring something yesterday, and I feel super proud of it Since it's the first time I tried to mostly cell shade and I found out how to do lineart on the computer with a mouse lol Yeah, after so long, I just found out ;A; So here it is (even though it's chibi...)
Oh my goodness!
I feel like you've improved A LOT since your first post.
I'm not much of an artist, but I can still see the differences
:3
The chibis are adorable.
