Yeah... and lots of guys (in video games only though) do that ^_^

Okay I'll try to be more specific, he's the guy in that game where you can use magical spells but only a certain amount or your MP drains, and if the monsters are too strong you can run away(but it doesn't always work!). He gets some other people to help him along the way so you have a party. The funniest part about the game is the way they represent hurting your opponent- when you attack them little numbers appear that say how much it hurt!

Yeah I know! And you travel with your party in game right! And you fight in game as well, right?! And you can use items as well!
That has to be it!

The guy in it's really cool because he never talks.
This thread is for the best character apart from the protagonist. Now, mute protagonists are pretty common (Chrono, Link, etc.) but mute secondary characters are pretty rare, unless no one in the party speaks (in which case they're generally not really characters... Icewind Dale type affair, maybe?). So, a traditional RPG with a mute non protagonist, but who is still enough of a diverse character to be your favourite? That's actually probably pretty narrow choice...

Ah, yeah! I think I know him! He is the one who saves the world, right? Several times in a row ^_^ Fighting evil king, ancient dragon, or perhaps some alien is like eating a pancake for him.

You say 'THE' as if there can only be one protagonist... If that is the case, then who was the Protagonist of FFVI?

If she counts, I'd say Celes because she is just so amazing awesome.

Otherwise, I'd either say Emeralda Kasim from Xenogears or Sydney Losstarot from Vagrant Story.

FF6 has multiple protagonist (they claims all characters are the protagonist but that kinda stretching it, I guess), starting from Locke that saves Terra in the beginning of the story, Terra that has significant role during the first half of the story, and Celes that also has significant role in gathering the party once more during later half of the story.

I'm rooting for Midna in "Twilight Princess". She has such a quirky, bubbly personality and yet so much background that she is just lovable.

Imp-Midna was also superior to normal Midna in every imaginable way.

For some reason I really want to see an FFVI VN now.

FF 6 has numerous *prptaganists* but it really is a collective effort, unlike FF 4 and FF 7, who have a definite progatanist - Cecil and Cloud...

Where do I sign up for a FF 6 VN?

FInal Fantasy Tactics- tie between Agrais and Mustadio. Agrais is an ellecent choice because of her attitude and powers, and Mustadio because he's a fun guy, and, if you play one of the sidequests out, accidentally gets totally clobbered!

Breath of Fire 3 - Rei - *Don't that beat all*? A thief with a heart of gold!
