Woah, this thread is awesome. It's so cool seeing everyone's work and it inspired me to go quickly draw something so I can be a apart of it all too.

This is a re-draw of something I did roughly 4 years ago https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CHvlxouUYAAZevN.jpg (blurry picture, I know). Hoping I continue to get better!

Keep it up guys! I am loving looking at all your stuff :) It's awesome!

What an improvement! I love the vintage feel of the new version.

I used a pixel art/sprite program called Aseprite, which allows you to control palette indexes directly.
I love this so much, great work :3 The colour palette feels 90s, i don't know what about it makes me think of Gunsmith Cats. And thanks for sharing the program you used, totally checking it out.
It's for what amounts to a game representing an update to early 90s machines (some of which actually came out in the late 80s) such as the X68000 and FM Towns. The gunsmith cats vibe probably comes from the detail on firearms which is a trademark of mine. If you play Amihailu in Dreamland, every firearm in portraits and item pictures represents a real-world firearm (well there's two but there are larger versions that feature more guns).

Hehe, thank you!

Woah, Tempus, those are some really cool backgrounds! Designing your own dessert sounds amazing.

@Smudgeed: Thank you! Now I feel like dessert...

@Noyemi K: Both that and the previous one you posted look really nice.

Here's a WIP BG which I can't be bothered explaining!

And here's another tablet sketch. Sort of frustrating that how long it takes me to make simple stuff with a tablet >.>

Both of these are just amazing!!! I love that you used the same palette (if you were doing there for real on an older machine, you'd probably be limited in how many color pallettes you can use). I really like the backlighting. The dithering reminds me of early PC games.

@iNVivO: I love that illustration! It's so clean and colorful!
@Tempus: Your cgs looks really realistic!!

A WIP of an illustration I'm working on. This one is a big deal, so I hope to make a good job (it's cropped because gore and ugly manboobs).

Accidentally made this while trying to design my personal website. It's probably partly inspired by Transistor which I recently played.

To swipe away my gloomy mood I tried to do a quick drawing for my lil' sis
she's been asking me awhile to draw one of her friend from a game, I think it's Line Play lol
The size is a bit small that my usual canvas, but she want to use it for her phone screen-- so yeah :"D
