You guys are pretty bright. You'll figure it out... ;D
hmm... two questions...

1)would the missing line be what calls the image of arthur?

2)is that morse code in SSI3 (super secret info 3)?

[side comment: "This Ending NEVER Happened" LOL *Blows up*]

[hmm... *looks at line of code I marked* the last word seems to be "secret"... or "Arthur"... I know what we must do... DECODE THE MESSAGE! (cue fanfare... I said cue fanfare... CUE THE **** FANFARE!)]

lol No, no. Not that secret that you know but do not know completely. Btw, I don't think anyone figured that secret out yet. Such a shame - it's a good Easter Egg too... =(

re MMZ>>
1) Arthur? No
2) It's not morse code. Each blank line represents one letter.
Okay, you guys have 18 questions left out of 20. ;)

I've figured it out... 8) The apostrophe followed by *two* dashes was what clued me in. And I'm very excited :D ;)

isn't it 21 questions? or do I have the game and the song mixed up? (no, don't count those please!)

this could take a while... could you fill in the vowels? that'll trim a few years off the decyphering...

[also, I would like to take this moment to announce that I will be gone for a week, starting this Saturday (tomarrow, my time), due to BSA summer camp. if something demands a response from me ASAP, you know what to do. (PM me! then I'll see it when I get back from summer camp!)]

You have to buy the vowels and they don't come cheap. 17 questions left. ^^

I almost feel as if I'm posting in a dead thread however after playing through the game about 20 times, reading all of the previous posts, trying to save at every single choice screen and track all choice paths, but STILL only managing to get endings 1-6 (in the order 6,4,5,2,1,3 all without bonuses T_T) in the first 9 times through, I've decided to play along with the unfinished '20 Questions' style game that apparently was going on here and ask the most sensible question ever..."Will you write a walkthrough for those of us who still seem to be stuck?" I don't know maybe it's my personality but I'm really close to doing what I did back in elementary school with those 'choose your own adventure' books and actually break out pen and paper and attempt a flowchart ^_^ Even though I have heard that ending 8 is only unlockable if you trigger certain unlockables.

Now besides my apparent unease with being unable to get the last two endings...I really love this story ^_^ Really, I like the way the characters look I like the way the story works and especially because this is a choice oriented game, I like the fact that the girls have facial expressions. In fact with the 'Knot or not?', 'Female Statue' and 'Human sculpture or Abstract art' choices, the statements and facial expressions that are shown immediately afterwards tell you exactly who you impressed and who you well...didn't. All-in-all I liked the plot, the characters, the art and the music.

I'm liking the works that I've found through renai.us I seriously want to get into playing/reading Ren'Ai games and Kinetic Novels now ^_^

Well it usually happens that most of the people around here play the games shortly after release, but the thread shouldn't ever be dead - there are many people who discover the games even a year or more after release.

Kykuit doesn't have a stable branching system, meaning there are no hardcoded "paths" (as is the case with someone else's games ^_^), so flowcharts aren't the best way of tracing your progress. I learned that trying to get my ending... obviously. One of the indications is the face of the characters - my lady actually smiled a bit when I chose the answer she liked. :P

re Cardcaptor RaaShaun:

Don't worry at all about reviving old threads! When I first joined I would look at all the threads, comment on them (usually commenting *reviving old thread*) - and sometimes, others would look at what I said, comment on that, and before long, an *old thread* has new life. :) Generally with completed games, everyone checks them out when they are first released, then the responses taper off...but someone new joins, looks at the various games, and comments on them...and others will respond in kind.

And if there is gonna be a walkthrough for this game I want it!!

Wow, three people wanting a walkthrough! ...I don't have a walkthrough. But I do have a Character Guide available! It'll help you figure out each individuals likes and dislikes and which choices to pick. If that doesn't help, PM me and I'll see what I can do. =)

And RaaShaun, ending 7 and 8 is well worth the effort so hang in there! :)

Got an eye for your teacher?
Thwarted in your efforts to sit by her on the bus?
Never fear, ozurr's guide to picking up your teacher is here!

pm me and I will send you my hints. I won't give you a step by step walk through, as that would dull the thrill of discovery, but they will certainly help. I'd post the hints here but I'm not bright enough to figure out how to code it.

Since I never DID a review of this, might as well do one now!

Story: It's a good story, and the characters are all well done. I really like that everyone makes an effort to be nice to the new guy :)

Music: Very well done, it fits the mood perfectly.

Artwork: I REALLY liked the artwork. It was neat watching when Corus would change his features to something someone else said.

It's a really well done game :)

However, I DID run into two problems...it occasionally *freezes* for a few moments - that's more annoying than anything else though. And then there's this:

I'm sorry, but an exception occured while executing your Ren'Py
script.

NameError: name 'missb4' is not defined

The last script statement executed was on line 2036 of game/script.rpy.

Ren'Py Version: Ren'Py 4.7.2

Looks like it happened before...it was off of a save file too...is this a glitch? It's a bit too technical for me.

So far I've gotten endings 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6.

Great game!

That is a glitch, and IIRC was caused by savefile corruption. I believe the solution is to create a file named 'nopsyco' (no extension) in the same directory as Ren'Py, and then to play the game again.

This has been fixed in newer versions of Ren'Py.

Hmm, maybe I should "upgrade" the game to a new version of Ren'Py to get rid of that problem... and maybe make a Deluxe Edition while I'm at it with omake's and stuff... :thinks: Will anyone be interested in an improved version? :D
