The story follows a girl named Ayaka Fuji, an 16 year old transfer student from Nigata, Japan attending a boarding school, called Lux Hall, in the fictional city of Lux in England. A year ago Ayaka was dying of a weak heart, however, she made a deal with a kitsune demon in order to keep her heart beating. The kitsune's name was Avalon, apparently she named herself such because she claims to have been around since the time of King Arthur. In exchange for keeping Ayaka healthy Avalon was allowed to possess her body, giving her physical form in this world. Ayaka agrees to these conditions because she wants to find her biological sister. Since Ayaka was adopted she has never met her sister and now, with a new heart, she has her chance. With some research Ayaka discovers that her sister is under the new name of Ellen Postletwhate attending school at Lux Hall, thus, she applies to transfer there and is accepted as an international student.
Everything seems to be going fine until a girl is murdered on campus. The police had no leads but Avalon tells Ayako that the girl was murdered by another demon, drawn to the school by Avalon's power. Apparently, the demon is residing in one of the four boys Ayaka had contact with during the day. Now, Ayaka has to find and destroy the demon before it can kill her. Though it is a mystery game there are also opportunities to date and interact with 4 obtainable boys as well as other characters, in order to discover which one of the boys is the demon. Each boy will have a good and bad ending.
Characters:
Ayaka Fuji: Age: 16, the protagonist/heroine of the story. She has medium length brown hair, with the bangs on the right side swept over and held back by a clip. The clip is a simple bar-clip and is pink. Ayaka’s eyes are also a light pink in color. Ayaka is smart, but mostly only in books, street wise she's pretty clueless and has no sense of direction. Hence, she always ends up bumping into people, or getting turned around when walking.
Avalon: in her fox form Avalon is shown to be a purple fox with bright red eyes; she is also see through in this form, since she can’t hold physical form in this world. As a fox she has three tails, not yet reaching her desired nine-tail status. In this game it is revealed that she gains a new tail every time she possesses a person, but always seeks out someone who deserves to continue to live, which is why she has only done it three times. In her human form Avalon looks like Ayaka but her eyes are red instead of pink.
Note:
I know the plot is similar to Millennium Snow, however, there are quite a few differences...
As for the problem of culture in both Japan and England I have lived in both places... I hope that gives some condolences as to the idea that I can pull this off. Plus, this is VN occurs in a fictional city...
