Swan's Melody [2012] - On Hiatus

We're doing a NaNo game. Because we don't have enough self control to fill a thimble. orz Actually, this is something we've been planning for a while, so we figured we'd use NaNoRenO as an excuse to at least complete a polished demo. Here's a story about adorable girls and their lives.

Patty - The "ring leader" of the group. She's a little bit clumsy and air-headed, but she's very determined, and she loves helping people.


Astrid - Astrid has a sharp tongue, and she takes everything very seriously. Somewhat of a loner until she gets involved with the other girls. There's a little (or a lot) of tsun tsun in her.


Marion - An energetic girl who loves being with her friends. She also reads a lot.


Teresia - A quiet and gentle soul. Enjoys such pursuits as flower arrangement, tea time, and archery.

This looks adorable. I love reading stories about groups of friends and their random adventures in day-to-day life, so I'll be looking forward to it. :3

I played with the uniform colors, but I'm still not sure which one I like best.

Personally like the top one more.

So what genre is this? Just slice-of-life?

I like the dark grey uniform, I think it has a nicer balance of contrast.

I'm going to have to go with the second uniform because it's more distinctive. The gray/white uniforms have been overdone a bit, I think, and I just really love how that light blue goes with the jacket!

I have a feeling that this is not going to be a slice of life story, or not a typical slice of life story in the least...

I like both uniforms, but the first one looks better in my opinion.
Hmm, although this appears to be a cute slice of life story, the fact that the title is 'Swan Song' makes me think there could be something deeper/darker going on.. (´・ω・`；)

The gray one looks better to me since the ribbon matches with Patty's hair pieces. 'Course, that won't apply to all of them, but my vote goes to the gray uniform anyway.

BTW, what genre? Looks like a Slice-of-Life with some focus on Friendship, but there's probably more.

I'd say grey definitely looks the coolest out of the two. The other one looks less original. That said, they both look nice.

I am a sucker for slice of life, and while it may take a turn away from it I like the concept and designs so much already that I'd play it anyway! (also, it is from you guys. I always love your games.)
