memory usage when using shift+R

A weird thing I noticed, but happens only in developer mode when you hit Shift+R. Thought to post anyway: every time, the memory usage increases. I used windows resource monitor, and every time I hit shift+R I see memory usage increased by 15-30mb. Even with plain visual novels like Heileen, not just with RPG or other complex games!
Looks like a memory leak or something ? anyway, not a real bug since as I said, happens only in development mode!
