Echoes of Thunder

http://finalwaltzonline.com/game/game.html

Made by members of one of the al|together localization teams.

Just played it, it's awesome! :D

I think it may well be the first OELVN using Onscripter.

It's just a demo with the Prologue and pure event CGs, but very cinematic. They mentioned they will sell the full version which will be more conventional (sprites as well as CGs instead of pure CGs) and will be the full novel with voices.

Ren'Py: 22~23 and counting
Onscripter: 1
Blade: 0

Amazing ... how did I miss THIS release?

I'm glad you brought it to our attention. If the price isn't too bad ... well, I still
would rather be able to download it, but I also understand the sheer amount of time needed to create one. :(

I hope they finish it.

Coolness ! I hadn't seen a fate based story in a while and I realize it still works. I'm very curious about how it'll turn out o_O

Oh, I finally played it, it's *REALLY* good.

I loved the music, sound effects, and characters and stuff ... it's a good idea ... (it's been done before in Mirage of Blaze and the like, but it doesn't mean it's not a good story.)

The beginning art is definitely better than the mid-game art ... (laugh) ... I can tell placeholder art when I see it, though.

I'm glad the rest of the game will be like a classic visual novel.

I have to say this is really spectacular. But I also agree with BCS' comment on the art - it seems to have the best punch at the beginning, with that wonderful lightning and all, getting a bit sketchlike near the end.

Also, one thing that bothered me was how the textbox was just a bit too fancy with the sword - looked good on a screenshot, but actually it obscured a huge portion of the graphics, especially the complex ones like the phoenix fight were affected.

Other than that, wonderful. The piano music is atmospheric, and the graphics style is very unique, presentation polished, well done. I hope there will be a little bit more than the demo, to see what's coming next, and give an overall feel for the story, but so far, it's a great job.

A first-time for onscripter, this is good news. :P
