Plot:
Elerna Library was once one of the most famous attractions in all of Mesachora.
It was built in honor of Elerna Mesachora, daughter of the former king.
However, the library shared her twisted fate. War broke out with the neighboring kingdom: Auleria.
Disease spread from Auleria and took the king's wife and daughter as its victims.
Hundreds of years later, 18 year-old Liam was found dead inside the library but no cause of death was found.
Since that day, anyone who went inside would disappear and never be seen again.
Elerna Library's tarnished history haunted the people of Mesachora for 200 years
until four teenagers(Riley,Lily,Thomas,and Courtney) decide to go inside the library
and find out what really happened to all of those people.
To their great surprise, in their attempt to unravel the truth, they are sent back into the past.
The one good thing about being sent back into the past should've been not having to go to school anymore, right?
Unfortunately not true. Children and young adults wandering the streets was a "danger"
because of the constant battles between the ninja and samurai so they
are forced to attend Makau School until the age of 20-though many believe this isn't the real reason.
However, Makau doesn't focus at all on academics; its main focus is fighting.
Normal schools give you detention for fighting but here you will get detention if you don't fight.
Instead of studying books, each student must take a magic and weapons class to see which one they are best suited for.
In the weapon class they try using special weapons that target a part of your spirit called
kenjeko and attaches to it to become of use to that person and only them.
In the magic class an orb made of a rare crystal is used to draw out one's powers through a painful process.
Once their weapon/power is discovered they are separated and begin their training and prepare to fight.
On their first day at Makau, the characters learn that every week 4 students are chosen randomly to fight each other.
The winners from each of the fights then proceed to fight the next opponent and the winner
of every fight may choose to continue to participate in this weekly event until they are defeated.
To be able to leave campus after classes, you must win at least one fight.
You play as Courtney as she and her friends try reverse the effects of Elerna and return to their own time period.
As time wears on, she starts to make new friends and possible love interests.
Is she willing to give up her old life to stay in the past?
Or is the future where she belongs?
Setting:
The story takes place in both past and present Mesachora.
However, the past differs greatly from what Courtney and her
friends are used to. The calm, tranquil
Mesachora they knew is no more. They're brought to a time
where ninja and samurai are as common as doctors and lawyers
and fights are to be witnessed in the streets at any time of the
day.

Name: Courtney

Family:???
About: Courtney is very shy and doesn’t like to stand out.
Since she can remember, her family had always treated her like an outsider.
When she was thirteen her parents,her brother, and sister packed their bags and left her all alone.
Due to this, she is always afraid that those around her will leave and she will be alone again.
However, one thing about her family's disappearance never added up: their belongings
were found in Relieu Forest, a forest just on the outskirts of Mesachora, but no bodies were ever found.
Best Friend:
Name: Lily
Age: 16
Family: Lives with her mom, older brother, and younger sister
About: Lily has a personality that can be taken as funny or mean.
She often makes jokes to lighten the atmosphere when things get tense
but sometimes seems like she can’t take things seriously.
She is the drummer in a band called Diversity-a band that is not allowed to
practice on campus because of its genre of music.
Lily rarely pays attention in class but instead relies on Courtney for last-minute
test cramming and homework help

About: Liam mostly keeps to himself and puts up walls to keep anyone from seeing the real him.
He doesn't lie about who he is but would rather act coldly towards everyone so that they
won't bother trying to see what he really is. He never talks about his family or himself but has
no problem prying into other's lives and exposing their secrets.
The only person he somewhat gets along with is Ranulf though even he gets on his nerves a lot.
Name: Riley
Age: 17
Family: Lives with his older brother and niece
About: Riley can sometimes be a little arrogant but more often he is considerate and trying to keep people happy.
He comes from a rich family and because of that his parents had a reputation to uphold and his
appearance and lifestyle weren't what they wanted so he left to live with his older brother, Derek.
However, when they were younger Riley had unintentionally hurt Derek and nearly killed him.
Because of this, Derek is very cautious whenever Riley is around his daughter, which only makes
Riley feel more alone and more like a monster.
Name: Thomas
Age: 17
Family: Lives with his dad and younger brother
About: Parents are the examples their children look at for an idea of what the future may hold in store for them.
In Thomas's case, this would mean deceit, pain, and loneliness. He learned at an early age that almost
nothing lasts forever and that all relationships are destined to fail.
When his parents divorced he began to distance himself from his dad, blaming him for his mom leaving.
He and his dad would often fight-verbally or physically-which resulted
in their relationship becoming even more strained than before.
Name: Kaleb
Age: 17
Family: Lives with his aunt
About: Kaleb is loud and outgoing but even though he seems happy, he is hiding a lot of pain and anger.
While on a mission as a samurai, his mother and sister were killed by a ninja.
His father blamed him for not being able to protect his family and cut him out of the remaining family.
His one goal is to exact his revenge on the man who killed his family and only then will he be able
to let the past go and may face his father again.

About: Ranulf feels that his sole purpose in life is killing.
As a ninja he was forced to give up all emotional ties and fill them with bloodlust.
Many rumors circulate throughout the town such as he single-handedly murdered his entire clan for fun
and that he killed his own family so he'd have nothing to hold him back.
