Yes the test boxes arent the final version, I'll be changing the font at some point.

I'm a lurker here at LSF and I had to join up and tell you what a good job you've done so far! Beautiful art and the story is very compelling. My only beef so far is that I also think the text is kind of hard to read. Also, do you mind telling us the name of the song at the start screen? Thanks!

The song at the title screen is called 'Tears' it is written by a band I found on Newgrounds called Yours Truly.

I am currently working on finding a new font for the game, and here are the Spirit Child and Andrick's sprites.

My favourite is Gideon so far, I don't like Reins attitude :/
The story is good, reminds me a little of Yo-Jin-Bo xD Where quite some guys protect a lady on the way to somewhere xD
I can't wait for the full game with more story and CGs <3

Very interesting 1st chapter - I like it a lot. It makes me wonder where the story is going - and the characters all have interesting personalities. I don't know if I just made the "right" choices, but there was definitely a sense of urgency and danger in the game. The music works really well to enhance the mood.

The only thing I'd say is that the assassin was a bit confusing - was the sprite supposed to represent 1 person or all of the assassins? I had the scene in the room where the Seer had hidden - and the assassin disappeared off to one side and then came back? Or was that a new guy?

But yeah, no, good job! Really looking forward to seeing where this will go.

No the 'assassin' is a specific person, he is just called that to start with because you don't find out his name until you do his path (ie choose FOLLOW HIM instead of STAY PUT for the first choice)

He disappeared off screen because a soldier took his place, there was originally going to be a generic soldier sprite but in the end I decided to just have main characters as sprites, the soldiers are just like the handmaiden at the start.
