UPDATE:
Managed to trim the files down to a comfortable 120MB but a critical error on a really important scene keeps me from releasing this game so until I managed to solve this... The Fucking Question release date is On-Hold... My sincerest apologies... I'm now working double time to find a workaround

Err... I already trimmed roughly 80% to 90% of the animations which should explain why I managed to trim it down to 120MB from the previous 477MB... the problem is I have this particular scene in a loop involving a screen based imagemap that just keeps on piling on memory every time a loop is made with no way of flushing them away... leading to a really nasty system freeze...

Can you post it somewhere - with a jump from label start to just before the scene in question - so I can tell you what went wrong?

Depending on machine specs the it will freeze after choosing looping for a few times...

UPDATE:
After that really embarrassing blunder in which I'm the only one to blame... Although, the VN now works flawlessly and with decent framerate even on slower machines after purging nearly 85%-90% of the animations... I decided to push back the release to August 20 to ensure enough testing so I won't have to release patches and have everything in one go... apologies for the delays... I swear this will be worth it... Although I said the release date has been hold till August 20... several working copies were already sent privately to various people...
