your early stories

#1 Post by Pyonkotchi » Wed Aug 08, 2012 3:48 pm

Anyone remember the very first stories they wrote?
lets get nostalgic!

I remember that maybe in 3rd grade I tried to write this sotry. I think it was called The Sacrifice, I have no idea what it was about but there were these sisters.
and one sacrificed herself for the other??? and i think there was a cave???2 (you can tell how well written and classic THAT one was :P)

and then in 5th or 4th grade i wrote one called The Demons Wings, about a fox girl named Cassandra who had cursed wings because apparently she needed wings, but yeah.. except that wasn't important at all because later she gets this pendant that took over and gave her chaotic evil and made her go berserk.
and then I showed my friends and they gave not a single fuck and i got discouraged and gave up :U
( I did later take all the characters a few months ago and tried to write a less stupid version for NaNoRenO but then life and i never finished:O!!)

I also wrote one about a demon who suddenly gets a sister out of like no where and she has to hide her because the sister isn't a demon, and one day they get caught but then the sister is actually like an angel magical god or something and used her marysue powers to destroy some bullies and then she floated away because NOW I MUST GO LOL and the demon girl got the sads and thats it

but yeah

share your early stories 8D~ please?

Do pokemon fanfics count when I was really young? With of course ME as the main character.

Other than that, some rather old orginal stories:
- About an elf woman and all the girls in her family were priestesses, and she didn't want to be one. Her mother is dead, she is asocial, blabla. Then she meets some wierd overly friendly guy, who she dislikes, but keeps hanging around her. Turns out at the end he's actually an angel, lol.

-About a cat who goes on an adventure, falls in a sewer and end up in Catopia. But of course not everything is as it seems, and she must try to get out before the manically laughing squirrels catch her. And the Boss has a thing for her. It ends with whole Catopia flooded. The cat is alive of course.

-About some girl with special magic and her boyfriend. The girl goes to fight some evildoer and disappears. Before she went she had a huge fight with the guy. Years later he goes to gather a gang to fight the evil person -yeah, he's still there- and a girl joins who is actually the other girl but with a different appearance and she is mute. The wizard had cast a spell on her. She has a grudge still at the guy, and she turned all asocial. And,... a lot of things happen. There was a lot of drama between the guy and girl.

...And so on. There really are many. Most are rather silly though. So much unneeded drama.

I remember drawing comics back when I was in second grade. Unfortunately, all of my old stories have been BURNED IN FIRE.

I may have actually had a more twisted mind back when I was younger than I do now...

Oh man I have such a list.
- First ever story, a teenagers village gets attacked, he's the lone survivor and goes out for REVENNNNGE.
- Sort of Tron-esque story with gijinka'd computer functions vs gijinka's virus/trojans
- One shot style slice of life thing with animal eared hotel workers

Then there's all the stories I mused on but never acted upon. One day I'll finish a tale I have to tell :x

I have a huge pile of papers here, since I printed the first story I wrote. It's 40 pages A4 paper or so, I wrote it when I was 15.

It makes no sense to me whatsoever, but man was I proud of it, wahaha.

It was about a young boy who was an orphan, but he got adopted into a kind and loving family, stole their hearts, woo'd the girl, thwarted the evil headmaster and saved the world by beating the Great Evil in chess. I know, right?

First story may have been when I was four.
Opened with a blonde-haired girl named Sarah murdering her parents and before she could murder her newborn brother, Super Warrior (hahaha) rescues him.
Super Warrior somehow discovers Sarah was mind-controlled by an evil wizard named Zock. After breaking the mind control, Sarah and Super (ughn the name) travel across the world (that seemed to be decorated with Greco-Roman structures), up a mountain full of Super Mario moving platforms, are nearly killed by Zock, and then I think I ran out of paper in the notebook (picture driven) and never continued the story.

And much like Pyonkotchi's entourage, anyone I showed it to really didn't care. They wanted to whoop my a$$ in Connect Four, Trouble, and Sorry! (and they did).

My first stories were only pictures with girls like Sailor Moon. But I guess this does not count

My oldes original manga, which was more then a cover with a logo, was a detective story, were the heroine turns into a dog. She never got into any case. Why she was a detective again?
I think I was 9 or something like this.

I remembered my first comic ever...
It was drawn on a blindingly-colored binder paper...
It was about a dog that opens up a bakery. (Made in the end of kindergarten/ beginning of grade 1 I even wrote comik [bad speller XD] age 6 in the bottom corner.)
The whole story is about his friends eating up all of his bread. (I didn't know what kind of story that was... orz)
EDIT:
LOL I STILL HAVE IT WITH ME even though I moved halfway across the earth XD (not written in english :p)

I wrote my first really polished "book" prior to my entry to kindergarten. IIRC, I came up with the story and told it my mom. She wrote it out for me, then I copied her writing onto the page myself because I didn't know how to read or write very well yet. It was called Chick-Pe (pronounce: chickpea) and it was an illustrated story about a baby chicken who got into trouble, acquired a little sister (Pe-Chick... of course!!), and got into more trouble with said little sister. I still have it somewhere... it's kind of a relic of my childhood. Playground friends were forced to play "Chick-Pe" with me. Yes, I roleplayed characters from my own stories.

In the 5th grade, every kid in my class had to write a story based on the Holocaust. I knew very little about the Holocaust other than the obvious, and we only read one fiction about it, Number the Stars. So I was forced to derive most of my facts from that book, leading to a similar setting and story. However I guess it was good enough because my teacher had it typed out, printed, spiral-bound, and took it to a teacher's conference to show it off. I felt proud, but I also felt guilty. Very, very guilty. Anyway, it was set in Denmark or something, and it involved a Danish protagonist girl and her best friend who was Jewish. Jewish girl's parents dropped her off at protagonist's house and said goodbye (what the heck, lol), then protagonist's family hid Jewish girl in the wall so the bad old Nazis wouldn't find her. She lived and escaped, but it still ended on a negative note with protagonist girl wondering if she would ever see her best friend again. (Author's thoughts: No.) It was kind of cool because in the story, protagonist girl kicked a Nazi soldier in the butt... my teacher thought it was too comedic and changed it to "shin" (I WAS FURIOUS). Just a few years ago, I found out that my awesome Norwegian grandma had actually kicked a Nazi in the shin as a child.

In the 6th grade, I discovered Toonami and became an anime nerd. I endeavored to write a sci-fi/fantasy story. It involved Earth inhabitants migrating to a new planet. Only the rich could afford the space shuttle ride, but the story followed a thief/stowaway (there were several revisions) named Kyoji (I was a G Gundam fan, lol) and his UST partner Suki, who was a ganguro girl and wore camo and black leather. Together, they thieved their way/stowed away to the new planet. But as they were entering the airspace, the shuttle was attacked by a dragon thing*, and crash landed. It was chaos. Kyoji was separated from Suki. While he was trying to find her whereabouts, he found a Zoids organoid ripoff critter that became his buddy, and a magical cat girl who had amnesia but was SECRETLY AN ANCIENT GODDESS OF THE PLANET!

*The society on the new planet is being attacked by the Guardians, who were ancient bio-mechanical reptilian creatures originally created with the purpose of protecting the planet, but eventually went haywire and became dangerous.

I never finished it, but if I dig up my old file, I simply have to upload it here just for the lulz.

EDIT: I just remembered, it was Sukey, not Suki. The spelling was very important to me as a kid. I don't know how I forgot!

Ever since I could write, I began making up stories. My teachers/parents encouraged me to keep writing, despite the fact that the stuff I've re-read now that I'm much older makes me cringe. Mostly I did do spin-offs or fanfics, I guess despite not knowing what they were, of things I liked. Mostly books and Disney movies. Our elementary school had every student write a book that was bound and printed every year until they left. So I had a horrific series of books entitled "My Pets 1-4" until 5th grade where they asked us to do variations on fairytales. And thus Ronnierella was born. It's actually not that bad -- except that at the time I was again, writing fanfics for made-up characters that were in a book called "There's A Boy In The Girl's Bathroom" that I became weirdly attached to, despite hating the ending. (Where the main character abandons the characters he made up to go have a real life. Which I couldn't understand. xD And still don't, haha.) Ronnie is a rabbit btw.

After that, I got into Animorphs and then filled up entire notebooks with fanfics that had covers and titles. I wish I still had that, honestly. It would probably be hilarious to re-read. Again, I didn't know what fanfics were. Or Mary Sues. I was just writing. I didn't have internet access. So I showed no one my stories. They were only for me. That progressed to a strange Mary Sue Pokemon fic the next year .. and then my stories still mostly revolved around fanfics and Mary Sues in general until I was about fifteen. (:

I love writing and writing all those "bad stories" and "Mary Sue fics" has made me improve to where I'm at today, so I'm grateful for them. And for the encouragement my teachers/family gave. Also I'd give links to people, but embarrassment has driven me to save the world's time and delete all existence of my Mary Sue work from the face of the internet.
- I play any type of romance VN: BxG, GxB, GxG, BxB. Love is love. -

This is an interesting topic...

Some I remember off the top of my head:

- This story about a team of adventurers who are all friends go adventuring together, and finding out that their backstories are all interelated...
This story turned out quite complicated. There was a water spirit girl, who finally created her first rainfall and later it turns out the rain caused her friend, a living marionette (yeah, it's weird) to be bound to her mster or something. There was also a vampire who could only feed on AB type blood and the only person in the group with AB blood was a holy deathbringer or some rubbish and it just so happened that holy deathbringers were a race whose blood would poison anything and anyone it came into contact with.
...Yeah, quite a few weird races with their own quirks. It later turned into some dramatic betrayal angst friendship romance hurt comfort story or something, so I gave up on it. =w=

- A simple story about a pair of cave girls living in the 21st century. They were best friends and travel through a few towns collecting magic cards or something. The cards were some crap like they could summon monsters or something. -_-

- Story of a boy who tried to take over the world. It turned into him killing everything and everyone and living in happiness for the rest of his life after he lived on the empty earth. It ended with him dying happily, no feelings of guilt at all, and the world flourishing happily without humans after he died. Flourished, to be precise, turning into an earth where only plants existed since he created some toxic fog which wiped out everything except for like, two species of plants. The plants later crossbreed and produced a third plant, which crossbreeded and eventually more plants appeared.
It was actually a pretty nice story.

...That's all of my freakish stories I can remember.
Hatred: the absence of love.
Please, treat me with kindness.

Ahahaha :'D
Uhm...
I...was kind of really bad with story telling when I started. I started with the age of...about 10, I think, so... don't expect much logic in this xD"

My first novel:
Lucifer, son of Satan, is more and more running amok, causing chaos and destruction whenever he is displeased. Satan steals God's secret weapon to calm him down, being revealed as the newborn arch angel Gabriel. Satan locks both inside Lucifers room, unaware of Gabriels exact powers. Gabriel consists of pure innocence, making everyone totally defenseless against him. Lucifer, being shocked and irritated, misunderstands his emotions for affection. They soon seriously fall in love with each other. Shocked from Lucifers wedding announcement (especially since he has a fiance, Lilith, daughter of count Beelzebub) he asks god for help who gives Satan a poison which is pure sin, eventually killing Gabriel instantly.
The wedding takes place, but Satan regrets his murderous thoughts and disrupts the wedding so that they do not drink the poisoned wine. Gabriel mysteriously dies anyway.
Lucifer rushes away furiously and goes to god to ask him for a revival. God wants Lucifers power as repayment and Lucifer agrees.
It is revealed that Gabriel isn't dead but was just suffocating froma jewel stuck in his throat (from the bowl where the wine was in). Satan is relieved, but totally shocked when Lucifer appears outside, destroying the hell kingdom.
Gabriel runs outside and is shocked to see his beloved under total control of God. God reveals that he had planned this from there very beginning since he only has the power to give life, but Lucifer has the power to take life, being much more powerful considered by God.
Gabriel tries to calm Lucifer but is killed in the process. Lucifer awakes (since the pact with God was that Gabriel has to be alive) and is shocked about his deed. He kills god in his anger and destroys heaven with that, resulting also in the death of Satan, who came to help and is crushed by the remains of heaven.
Left all alone he cries in the ruins of heaven and hell before he suddenly remembers a talk he had with Gabriel which calms him down. It is revealed that Lucifer inherited the power to give life from god with which he rebuilds hell, heaven and earth.
He becomes king of both and rules them fair. Whenever he has the time he enters a secret garden to watch the corpses of his beloved and father, being frozen in time. A serene thought is the finale.

My first Manga:
I stole from about 20 different series for it (Missle Happy, Love Hina, Fruits Basket, Yellow, Pokemon, etc), so don't wonder if you recognize anything xD"

It was about a girl named Mizae that disguises herself as a boy to hide from her older sister (she doesn't want to depend on her anymore). Mizae was once molested by their adoptive father and she is scared as hell to be found by him as well.
She changes school after being revealed and gets to a new school, where Tamano is a student. They become close buddys since both enjoy soccer very much. But she suddenly gets sick on the way from school and since Tamanos older sister is a nurse, he brings her home. That sister - of course - realizes her real gender, but promises to stay silent.
Soon Tamano and his whole family (being with two older brothers, one younger brother, said older sister, one younger sister and himself) know about her gender but help her hide.
Suddenly she is abducted by a group of guys and brought to her adoptive father. Tamano and Mizaes older Sister rescue her just in time, send the adoptive father to jail and the sisters promise to stay in contact. Tamano realizes he falls in love with Mizae, she is oblivious. He gives her a necklace as a present.
Soon after the real parents of Mizae and her sister appear, demanding that both cut ties with everyone and go to europe to overtake the buisness. They explain they gave them away since they wanted a son for heir, but they never got other childs and now want their daughters back. Mizae gets so extremly angry that she rushes off and gets hit by a car.
She hides the fact about her parents from Tamanos family since they are orphans and couldn't understand, she thinks. After a lot of complications (involving Mizaes extreme fear of water [her adoptive father punished her with always almost drowning her in the bath tube], the fangirls running wild that follow Tamano and her [in the believe that she is a boy] and the unnatural hatred that Tamanos younger sister harbors for Tamano [she is in the strong believe that their parents died because of him]) she has to reveal her parents to Tamanos family since a fiance suddenly appears.
Mizae AND the fiance are extremly displeased with each other (he is the exact opposite, looking kind of feminine), still Tamano mistakes many situations between them and gets extremly jealous, even resulting in a major fight between him and Mizae.
She later reveals her hatred towards her parents, which results in another big fight where Tamano expresses his lack of understanding since he would die to meet his parents once again. They calm down eventually.
Soon there appears a fragile bond of friendship between all of them. The fiance get's interested in Tamanos younger sister who begins to slowly befriend Tamano again because of her relationship. The fiance withdrawls from Tamanos and Mizaes relationship, only teasing them sometimes (he regulary kisses Tamano when the latter gets aggressive, always resulting in Tamano freeze from the shock).
It is soon obvious that Tamanos mother seems to be some kind of protective spirit that watches over Mizae. The necklace is revealed to be previously being owned by her thus resulting in Mizae getting watched over. She can sometimes sense her, but no one is really able to see her (with one short exception where the younger sister sees her while having a fever and is able to talk about her hatred to Tamano with her, calming her mind).
In the end they all become happy, Mizae even plans on going to university as a girl/woman instead of being dressed up as a boy/man. Suddenly Mizaes father jumps in again, pressuring her to leave for europe. She still says no, but Tamano misunderstands the situation by thinking she simply hates him for him caring for her. They have a big fight again, but this time Tamano is extremly cold, telling her she disgusts him. Shocked and hurt she leaves the house in the night, leaving the necklace behind as sign of their broken relationship.
Mizaes sister and her fiance appear in the morning, explaining the situation about Mizaes parents and Tamano - shocked about his misunderstanding - chases her to the train station.
He comes too late and she rides off, but he is able to tell her that he is sorry and will wait for her. He is also able to give her the necklace in the very last moment.
The story jumps five years to the future. Tamano, now a student at a university, wanders around campus when he is approached by Mizae, now obviously a woman and still wearing the necklace. They embrace.

Seriously, I was so proud of it back then, but the jokes are bad, the story is totally over-dramatic and it's just one of >9000 stories with gender swap :'D
But hey, it was my first story and had 48 chapters with 30 pages each. It is definitly my longest story, as bad as it may be xDDD

My first game:
I wanted to make fun of almost all video games cliches, so it doesn't really has any serious story.
Great thief Eto steals "the Bird of Ithrea" which is the princess of Ithrea, Inoe. Inoe wants to escape the burdens of being a princess and because of that escapes herself, resulting in a comedy runaway. They become a team and visit many towns (for example a cursed town or a amazon village where the woman complain about the fan service clothes despite them living in the snowy part of the country). Their team grows: they meat Inoes fiance Adrian who is prince of the neighbor kingdom and generally hates Eto because because, a girl that can change into a cat and is in love with Eto, a pirate captain being cursed to have the body of a woman, a grumpy and stingy dwarf and a blind healer magician which can see the future whenever it fits.
They meet different people (like the totally hot evil queen that wants to persuade Eto to rule with her [and ignores his agreeing yells], a dungeon dragon who is so bored that he doesn't want to fight them or a town wanting to sacrifize Inoe to a demon) and visit all kinds of places (a haunted ship and a dungeon that has a toilet right beside the entry are just a few).
The result is that Inoe is revealed as not being the real daughter but being the missing princess of a secret nation that once rules the world. They bring her home where they meet a crow that is destiny itself. They fight him since he wants to lead the world to destruction. Upon the finale Inoe expresses her undying love to Eto who finally reveals that he knows he is just the character in a game and is totally annoyed by the whole story.

Logan's Run fan fiction (Beat that!) Where the main character (named Susan) goes in and takes out the main computer all by herself and saves everyone.

When I was in second grade or so, I tried to write a story about a planet full of mad scientists, where literally everyone was totally immersed in their studies and how they were not able to cope with anything else in their society or personal life. Well, I wrote roughly two pages, lost interest and went back to my beloved SNES to play Secret of Mana or whatever.
