Do you know what your bloodtype is?

I was asked by a friend of mine months ago what my blood type is and...damn, I lived 16 years of my life not knowing it because:
-It doesn't seem to matter in Philippines :/
-I've gone to the hospital(in the Philippines) for thousands of times already and I never had the chance to get my blood tested. Actually, do they even test bloods there? I always get my blood tested EVERY TIME I go to the hospital in Japan....aah, the injection (Q_Q) I'm not very good with blood so the first time I've got tested, I almost fainted!
-No one asked me before.

I'm a type B. Said to be the worst blood type and it seems I'm living up to it(should I be proud about this? ) As a matter of fact, I already guessed I was a type B even before I snatched a glimpse on my doc's computer and saw "Ｂ型Ｒｈ＋"

So how about others? What is your blood type?

Gah, I've been wanting to know my blood type for a while. Despite having my blood drawn and needles stuck in me numerous times, I've never actually gotten a blood test. One of these days, I'll know... (and hopefully not because I need a transfusion)

Type O is the universal donor, but the positive Rh factor means they usually won't give your blood to people who are negative, so it's not truly universal in your case. I'm not sure if I know my type, but I thought I was told at one point that mine was also O+.

I think when was younger i once found out my blood type but if i did i long forgotten it now.
I haven't been to the hospital in like what 10 years? over 10 years? last time i went was when i hit my head pretty hard on a tree while messing around with my friends, so i can get a scan of my head. But they didn't draw my blood or anything.

but for us gaijins, that's what make blood type more interesting XD. In our world blood type is only used for blood transfusion and nothing more o.o; ...

When you're in the military, you learn your blood type real quick, then it gets put on on your dog tags, then you put a dog tag in your boot laces (in case part of you becomes detached). When going into combat, a lot of Marines would use a marker to put their blood type on their boots, or on their shirt, or have it written on a strap attached to their pack.

I think almost my entire squad was O+. We always joked with the poor bastard who had type B- that he was screwed if he got shot. (Because morbid and "dead baby" jokes are funny for some reason when you're in the military. )

I'm an O. I lived half my whole life thinking I was an AB.
HAHAHA. And to think I wanted to be special of sorts. But I did say that as soon as I become eighteen I'll be donating blood to the Red Cross as some sort of a celebration, so I'm being all health-conscious now XD

Well, most Filipinos are O anyway, and everyone in my family's O too. We're so generous. (´･ω･`)
