Paint tool Sai is easier than openCanvas (that's what I thinkxD)
Both paint tool Sai and OpenCanvas is great. (But ... photoshop is greatest and most complicate)

NIERNA don't be so hard on yourself! I think you have better art ability than most people here on the board and the more you draw, the better you'll get! People here are already saying how they like your pictures, I think it's more than enough indications that you don't suck so try to cheer up!
