Same thing as always... free use, commercial OK... edit also OK and so on... you want it, you take it and use it for whatever purpose... and so on...

I'm currently lost as to why my copy of Renpy isn't working...

...and with that, I decided to put my feelings into something productive by making a road in the middle of... nowhere

OK, this is one of those "I did it for no apparent reason" type of backgrounds where I just modeled things and stuff, photoshop it to hell and back and call it a day... then I realized the very obvious sharp edges on the sidewalk... too late... anyway, I'm dumping it here so uh take it if you want. No strings attached... use it for whatever purpose may serve you best... the usual commercial is OK, modification OK and encouraged and so on...

I know you odds are get this question asked a lot but I am just going to throw this here. With the "modifications" that includes tracing it as well right? That and Painting over, photoshop, so on so forth.
If i do use your stuff I'll lovingly credit you =)

Most of the stuff posted here are primarily just me goofing and messing around with things for no apparent reason other than to see if I can and/or the results of countless experiments and as far as I am concerned are of little to no use for me so I'm literally dumping them here just in case someone might make use of them. Again, no strings attached. Use them for whatever purpose may serve you best... even OK for commercial use. Modifications are very much OK and is actually highly encouraged to suit your needs...

Actually, it might be more accurate to describe this thread as "Uncle Mugen's Personal Back-Alley Dumpster" thread where all my past hopes and dreams lie scattered around just waiting for the day they will be of some use to someone...

Then in that case thank you. What you call goofing and messing around is hours of work for me to get everything right by hand. Never focused on background ever but this will help me drastically with the worlds I want to make, even if its manipulating or redrawing by hand. They'll be used to great use, and maybe we can work together some day once I do make my first game, give or take 3 or 4 years time since I'm starting from the ground up.
You can trust they'll live on with me one day. I know thats this seems like all fluff but I mean it! Thank you.

If it can be managed, I'd love to see more caves and snowy areas. I see that's an area you've havn't dabbled in yet and that would be useful for my game and maybe others. But nothings forcing you.

That prevented me from sleeping very well... it was always in the back of my head... maybe this VN Background could have been better if only I could have added more effort to it... only to be reminded that I'm too lazy for that and just remade the road into a somewhat better version and used Photoshop to mask all the imperfection and hope I could get away with it...
Anyway, the usual TL;DR... Free for use in whatever you are doing, OK for commercial, Edit OK and encouraged, Not required but I kinda appreciate if you can inform me in case you used any of these resources for your projects so I can feel that *warm fuzzy feel at night in this deep dark corner of the world where internet is (insert dial-up sfx here)...

dropping by to let you know that I really love your backgrounds Uncle Mugen! It just looks real and so alive. Also, thanks a bunch for posting them and making it free for use. I'd really end up using all of these because since they are just really cool :D

I'm using some of them for the demo of Chasing the Stars, and will probably keep a couple for the full game
