K I not the best at Translating but I think you can use them but you are not allowed to use it for commercial use.

I would be careful with those, from what I understood it seems that those backgrounds are ripped from other visual novels.

Teacup's assumption was correct. I enlarged one of the background images, used its precise URL, and checked it with the website Saucenao. It turns out that the backgrounds are from the adult VN "Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na" (Brighter than Dawning Blue).

I did a rough Google Translate. While there were a bunch of untranslated words, I saw "rip from various VN,"rip from FS/N or anything," etc. You'd probably get in trouble if you used these backgrounds, try the Creative Commons board for BGs that have what you need.
