Gadget Trial
Darn you Misuzu! You got me hooked on getting this game while I am still in Japan.
In any case... this is fun for a seasoned gamer like me who has played advance wars.
I love the dialogue and just playing the demo version makes me want to pwn that black team overly logical... leader... lady... person.
Also, can you say Kyon for main male lead voice actor?

There's a translation patch available, just to let anyone who wants to play know.
I don't know if it would be appropriate to link. I'm not sure if the site leads to some iffy pirate content or not. Anyway, google.
I played it before any tranlsation and I enjoyed it but It lost its appeal to me after the first match. I couldn't have been bothered to play it when I couldn't read the dialogue. I might try to play it again though.

I'll warn you, though Gadget Trial is indeed an amusing game, take it as a visual novel with a strategy (mini)game implemented into it, as its nowhere near as deep as Advanced Wars nor very balanced unfortunately (once you get Souka Bomber mod, nothing stands in your way besides Souka Fighter and all other units are kinda useless in comparison besides Izen infantry (for the sole purpose of taking cities)).
Its a very entertaining game, though that comes much from the dialogue and character interaction in the later parts of the game instead of gameplay. Though using custom maps and not obsessively using bombers does return some of the strategy and fun to the game =D.
So, I cant say I whole heartedly recommend it, but if your fan of light hearted humorous visual novels or lite strategy games or enjoyed the demo, its a good buy, otherwise pass on this title.
Though, there are some brilliant lines in the game... definately

As long as you dont link to a way to illegal get the game, I don't believe a patch to a game is not allowed.
For reference, the GT full version patch is available in the typical place.
