So what's the happy part... that you found a good creative partner, or that your son has a not-a-girlfriend?

Both!

I like the not-a-girlfriend. She's a gamer girl with non-traditional interests. Unfortunately, she's short. :? (For reference, I think anyone under 5'8" is short. There are few women that meet my lofty standards. )

Yay, I'm not short!!! (Sorry, just wanted to say this ^^;)

Today, since I was given the money of this month, I dared to actually fund someone I admire. I'm really happy and I feel a bit strange since it's the first time I've given money to help someone like this (someone I don't know personally and who's not a representative of a organization or something).
EDIT: And I did it twice (funded a project too) :P

Have been feeling depressed about my rut lately, especially in the art area. But seeing this comic here...have to say it made me smile.

Hope this brings a smile to anyone else who sees this.

My good news...

I found this site ^^ which I never knew existed lol and now I am learning how to make visual novels! Which is totally awesome ^^ Also... I discovered I suck at coloring characters on the computer but bright side... I actually figured out how to color on the computer lol also found someone who is willing to color my sprites for me while I learn. This way I can provide a few free sprites in the Creative Commons without having to wait until I am good enough ^^

Have you ever drawn so much in one day that you completely used up all your art supplies? I did!! Today I totally demolished 6 pencils and 4 sketchbooks ^^ Trying to create sprite concepts lol. So happy, usually I can't draw because my arthritis pains me (no I am not an old lady) but today no pain ^^. unfortunately I am now out of art supplies and have no way to get any more till at least tomorrow T.T somehow I will survive...

How are all of you doing?

First few days in university. I moved into a residence with full of exchange students from Japan (the purpose of that residence), and I also met some talented programmers (one ran the world's biggest LMP forum) in the first day.

I'm super happy because I finished my very first VN Story. Normally everything I do is eternal and I've never finished a story before! I also drew emotions today! Normally I do blank, kinda happy and kinda sad. I"m on a roll!

Kind of reached a milestone in my ask blog after roughly four months of roleplaying. I'm just so happy that the community in tumblr is so welcoming, and that my writing kind of improved. I'll most likely get back to my VN after another month, when I'm sure my writing is better.

I have edited my script, and it is lengthier, but better. Like, I have edited and rewritten the prologue, and it is a pain, but it's worth it, cause I read through it and it is AWESOME.
Smiles everywhere.

I got a busy schedue recently. A lot of project's works and school strained me out and dried all the energy out of me. I don't have time for art until today, thank god I'm done with create a new eye's style for my art. I'm fairly sastified as I'm finally planned out all of the outline for both games and finished in design the characters's appearence for Lucente. :3

I finally got to see myself on the silver screen yesterday at the Strand Theater. A year ago, I did some acting as a minor role in a movie called 'Justice is Mind'. The movie came out pretty good with some interesting twists. My role was that of the Court Bailiff.

I'll be going on a fancy vacation cruise in a few days. This will be the second time I've went on one sense I was much littler.
Going to take this opportunity too hit some of the blackjack tables and see if I can win some big ones~! 8)
I hope they have 10$ shakes like they did on my last cruise.

Truth be told, I'm kind of nervous actually...
I've always hated to leave the house, even if I had to go across the street or down to my local gas station. Flying across states makes me want to shelter myself in my room and lock the door with seven different keylocks!
Hopefully this nervous tick will pass as I slowly count down to the 'Vacation Doomsday'.
Much Appreciated for those who took the Survey!
