The Lusty Lands [RPG] [Adult] [Fantasy] Playable Beta

Hi!

I'm currently working on a quirky little RPG, which has a cynical, humorous bent and erotic leanings - the game is not intended for minors.
Though the player has a mission - to collect four artifacts, and use them to get a God Battery and get back home - the main point of the game is just exploring the world and seeing what can be done there. In the Lands of Lust it's possible to change gender, size and species, and there's scores of unique towns to visit.

The game is currently in open beta - I was having trouble testing everything by myself, and this makes it easier to find bugs and get suggestions for gameplay and story improvement - and though the game mission can't be completed yet, there is a fair amount to see and do - There's already ten town in the game. I've been working on the game for about ten days, and hope to have it completed inside the next few weeks.

I was going to suggest placing Lusty Lands in the adult section of this forum, but then I saw this in your FAQ: "It's a CRPG with some erotic elements. It's not a porn game, exactly - there's lots to do that doesn't involve sex." I assume your game would get an R movie rating, an M video game rating, or something similar. Let us know how you think it might rate.

Let us know a few more examples of things you'd compare your game to. For instance, how would it compare to Elfquest (no swearing, but some horrifying violence, a few mild sex scenes, and both casual/artistic and sexual nudity)? How would it compare with Seitokai Yakuindomo (plenty of dirty humor, but mostly through dialogue)?

If this is an adult game, why not post it in the hentai(18+) section? There are hundreds(?) of under-aged forums members who can view(just like me) this if you post it over here.

It looked interesting, but I'll have to wait for two more years to get my hands on it.

I'm pretty sure there are fairly recent(?) rules which state you can have an 18+ rated game in the general forums as long as you state that it's an adult work and don't post any R-rated material in the thread.

That being said, I'm not big on adult games myself but I LOVE the pixel art you're using and I'm definitely going to show this to friends who would enjoy it.

Oh gosh, sorry, I somehow plain didn't notice the adult section, I guess this game really would be better placed there. I've been describing it as being pretty close to the TV show Lexx in terms of tone, but it's definitely a little more explicit than that in terms of content. There's no graphic depicitions of sex, but it's certainly described, and the graphics might cause some confusion as to who it's suitable for. Could a mod move the thread to the adult section, or will this one just be locked and I'll start another there?

I don't think there's a need to move this thread, but if you could start a second thread in the adult section, I'd appreciate it. (If the content of this thread goes out of whack, it's nice to have a place we can transplant posts to.)
