How to change MY EDITOR?!

Hey guys, I just wanna know...
What should I do if I want to change my script editor to jEdit if I have previously installed editra as my current script editor?
I think I'm havin a problem with editra, in which I can't change my main menu's background....
Need Help !!

With the Ren'Py launcher, click preferences > "Text Editor:" > select jEdit

You may manually download the text editor near the bottom of the Ren'Py download page. Don't forget to extract to your renpy folder and select it within the preferences menu.

Also, search for the line mm_root = "menu.jpg" in options.rpy (you may simply drop menu.jpg into your project's "game" folder).

These text editors shouldn't be having major problems... If you're new to this, feel free to read the documentation.

I frequently indent things slightly wrong, often it's just a mistype. Also check the file is in the right folder and not a back-up folder of the same name . Also check you haven't swapped a hyphen for an underscore in the filename.
