New Sprite lineart on the way!! (Thanks for your patience!)
The Otherworld starts off as a simple Slice of Life novel and quickly turns into a somewhat dark piece of romantic fantasy. It is the story of a girl named Scarlett Summers who is moving with her mother to a new school in St. Augustine. Originally intended to be a kinetic novel, I'm now making it into a piece of interactive fiction.
The main characters are as follows:
Scarlett Summers
Was generally an optimistic girl, until her parents’ divorce, when she had to move away. During that time, she became more reckless and rebellious, dying her hair black and withdrawing from socialism. She believes that there is no such thing as everlasting love because of her parents, and she hates everything about having to live somewhere new.
Ryan Harvey
He died 4 years ago and continues to be trapped in the “in between”, as a ghost. He has been stuck, alone and lonely, in the same house, wondering through the same places, waiting for some part of him to be fulfilled so he isn’t stuck as a ghost forever.
Dustin Rogers
He is generally very kindhearted, but he was bitten by a vampire a couple years ago and lost control of his bloodthirst, accidently murdering his father. He blames himself for this and, although he will openly befriend people, he will not allow himself to get any closer to them than necessary, out of fear.
Alexander Lance
His parents sold his soul to Lucifer at birth, and he recently found out a couple years ago when strange things started happening to him. So, out of his rage, he developed a horrible temper and became very defensive. He tries his best not to ever trust anyone, since he feels like his parents have betrayed him.

--Would you prefer there to be only a few solid choices that determine which guy you end up with, or would you rather I add in filler choices to make the story more interactive?
--Would you prefer if if this novel was released more quickly in episodes or with a longer wait time but as a standalone game?
