I haven't updated this thread in a while, but if it makes you feel any better im constantly talking about this project on my personal tumblr so its not like I forgot or anything, well i forgot to update the thread, but thats it, i didn't forget anything else.

as for what i've done

I finalized all the sprites and edited the front post with updated information and artwork

here is the magical warrior designs and Diana's knight form since they aren't in the OP, and I finished the main menu, and made a mock up of the preferences screen, changed the text box a little bit, as for writing, i'll probably upload a demo soon, it'll be shorter than I intended but I can always put up a longer one later on anyways, but otherwise i think i'm making decent progress so lets hope i stay this motivated :P

Question: Is this going to have any kind of battle system or mini games, or will it play more like a traditional VN?

It seems like a nice idea, maybe in a future game but for this one its just gonna play like a tradional VN.

Hey, that's cool too! I was just wondering because this type of game might lend itself well to having battles/mini games? Although without a huge battle system/mini games to worry about you'll be able to spend more time focusing on the story Anyways, good luck with everything!

Judging from the title and description, you guys seem more than adequate to create a Magical Girl game, whether serious or spoof/parody (although I must say that I personally hope for a spoof/parody )

Also love that the guys have magical identities! Magical boys FTW!

(On a side note, it took me longer than it should have to realize that Zacharie was a boy...)

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH the artwork is so cute and pretty! <(*O*)> So many colors!!!!!!! It reminds me of "Tokyo Mew Mew" and "Pretty Cure". ^____^ Roselia also reminds me of a mix between Anthy and Utena off of "Revolutionary Girl Utena". Ack, you've brought out my inner otaku! x)

not much of an update but i made a tumblr blog exclusively for mwdh junk, not a dev blog, this is just for fun. i talk about the characters and all kinds of other nonsense, :p

i almost forgot to update the thread...again

i finished a few more sprites, mostly outfit variations but i also did a few more new sprites a few of the many outfits valerie wears. also some of her silly faces
i finally finished Chandra's sprite, those of you following my twitter or tumblr have probably heard about her, but I havent posted her in the thread or anything... until just now lol.
i got around to finishing Amber's civilian form.
I also started working on sprites for some of the characters family members, i finished Abigail, alex's little sister. annnd I updated sophie's sprite as I realized it didnt really blend in with the newer sprites well. I also gave her glasses :^B

Chandra's the last member of the main cast, a quiet and timid senior who tends to blend into the background, she comes across as rather gloomy and depressing and doesnt have any friends because of it.

Abigail is really awkward and clumsy, shes really anxious and has an eccentric way of thinking, she doesnt get along with people very well at all outside of her family.


as for everything else. the gui is completely done, i just need to um, program it in, im about halfway done with the writing for the demo. Ive gotten the bare minimum amount of programming done xD it um, hasnt really been my top priority

hopefully i'll finish the demo by the end of NaNo. if not I'll at least upload the first chapter as a small demo :^p
