Take on the role of Vera Blanc, a beautiful young woman who, after brain surgery, gained the extraordinary ability to (sometimes) read other people's minds! Daughter of multi-millionaire Emmanuel Blanc, Vera left her life of luxury to work alongside paranormal detective Brandon Mackey (former FBI agent). Be immersed in the world of the supernatural as you play the detective!
Vera takes a short vacation to visit her father. While she is away, a young man hires Brandon to investigate a ghost in an abandoned abbey in Romania. It's really a trap.
Travel with Vera to Romania as she hunts the vampire who attacked Brandon.
Can Vera save Brandon, and will she find the vampire?

Updated version contains completely re-worked graphics, an animated cut scene, and some plot tweaks. This is the PG13 version. Playing time to reach all four endings is about 45 minutes.

Did you look at the readme file? If you can't find the solution there, send me a PM with more details (EXACT wording of any error messages, contents of your log.txt file, what OS you use, what video card/chip you havee) and I'll work with you on finding a solution.

it works. weird, i know i updated my drivers before.
ah well, my computer just hates me.

edit: finished playing. i get an old-school retro-pulp detective noir kinda vibe from the characters, villains, and storyline. it's way before my time, but a radio station would play ye olde time radio programs like the shadow and the green hornet, and i'd listen to them just to see what they were like. it has that kind of feel to it. maybe. especially with the narrator announcing location and time ... 'meanwhile, back in new york ...' kinda thing.

just for fun, i wonder how the story would look if rendered in black and white with deep shadows and a grainy filter, flapper clothes, and the language was modified into retro speak with 'crazy dames', 'private dicks', 'gumshoes', etc.

ah well, sorry for rambling on a tangent. lol.
