Re: JJ's Art/Sketch Dump
I like that cartoon look. Reminds me of my brothers work.
Re: JJ's Art/Sketch Dump
Thank you! I love how much more freedom you can have when using a fun, cartoony style.JumpJump wrote:I like that cartoon look. Reminds me of my brothers work.

Re: JJ's Art/Sketch Dump
Her face is so adorable (I have yet to see someone draw a mouth like that). :O
Good luck on your game!
(The green of her wand kinda throws me off since everything else is fall/autumn colored, and then there's a bright green.)

Thank you! Yeah, I notice it's a smile that's used more with american styled cartoons, haha.chocojax wrote:Her face is so adorable (I have yet to see someone draw a mouth like that). :O

At the time I was having a hard time deciding on colors for the wand part, so I'll probably alter it eventually.

Re: JJ's Art/Sketch Dump
This looks really good. Kind of reminds me of Hey Arnold.jjworks wrote:Hey, everyone! I'm pretty new here on lemmasoft as a poster (been a lurker for quite awhile) and thought I'd have a little art thread on here to show off some of my stuff.
Character design is my hobby and love, so you're going to see a lot of character sprites in this thread.
I might open up some sketch requests... If anyone is interested. My style is definitely cartoony and not the standard anime style I see most VN's being posted with.
First, here are pages from a mini development sketchbook of a puzzle platformer I made in flash as a project this last school year. I have character designs, inventory tidbits, exterior and interior designs. My exterior and interior would have definitely needed more work, if I had the time during the assignment. At the time, though, they were developed enough.

marimo: Thank you so much! It will probably be a long while before I have anything up... All of my ideas are in the early stages, ha ha.
muniiam: Thank you. I've never heard my art compared to Hey Arnold before, but I am definiteky taking that as a bif compliment.
