) where to begin? I'm a rambler (if you cant tell) so I'm sorry if I write to much, I write what I think as to not forget anything!
Background: I'd like to give some background, before the summary. Well background on my concept, atleast. I notice many games, stories, comics, etc.. romanticize the idea of being a warrior. Though a warrior can get respect, there is much pain in what they do, and I'd like to show that. The themes in this game, though most underlying and not outwardly said are war. Combat, yes, but also war within yourself and with others emotionally. It also shows conflict as a main theme. I thought it would be nice to tell potential players that I plan to put these in hidden ways (besides the regular type of war, this team vs that team) that some will catch onto, and some wont!
OK I'm sorry for rambling
Story summary: Verseau Omos was a special man in a line of warlocks and witches chosen to protect the worlds. Yes, dear reader, I said worlds. With his treaty, he kept the middle worlds safe from the ones above and below them. Everything was amazing. Until he was murdered.
You follow the story of Etoile Omos, the sarcastic, inverted son of Verseau. He never knew his father very well, and just assumed at a young age that he and his mother were abandoned. Whilst at his fathers funeral (which, by the way he was forced to go to) he is attacked by someone falling from the sky! If this isn't confusing enough, after said attack he is told that he needs to join some team of people trying to protect the worlds! He didn't even know there was more than one world, let alone that they needed protecting! Guide Etoile through this tale as he tries to figure out what to do: follow in his fathers footsteps, or just go home?
Universe: I believe this is vital to put here, so that if i mention something, people aren't as confused
Lilan: this equates to earth, humans come from here. They are not familiar with the concept of other species of people out there. this is considered a "middle world" since it is in the middle.
Rindran: This is the witch world, where warlocks and witches come from. This is also where the main character will reside after being forced to join. this is also a "middle world"
Tanas: Tanas is where things like time, mother nature, and the elements are born. It isn't a middle planet, but it is still protected by Estavia. Elementals come from here.
Estavia: Estavia is the oldest planet in this universe, which is why it was deemed a protector. (though, they dont protect much, usually they start wars) angels come from here
Drehail: This is the second oldest Planet, and it is below every other planet. Demons comes from here
Rating: 16+ for blood, a bit of gore, strong language, sexual themes, partial nudity, and themes that aren't suitable for a younger audience. (of course if you can handle it, who am I to turn you away?

I think it would be helpful to put in some character descriptions (DUH) for my main characters. I have quite a few I would consider main, but heck, let me try and just put out the characters that will occur the most
(a little info before i begin: humans age year by year, witches and warlocks age every 100 years. ie a witch who is 1200 will act and look like a 12 year old girl.)
Etoile Omos:
Age: 17
Etoile is the main character. He lived on Lilan for all of his life, and is mostly closed in. He REALLY doesn't like people, I mean his only friend is his mom! He's very sarcastic, doesn't really have much emotion to him, and can be very rude. Etoile doesn't know his father, thus he assumes he was abandoned by him. He cant really control his or Rin's powers (Rin will be explained soon) and he doesn't want to.
Verseau Omos:
age: 6,700
Verseau is the sweetest man you could ever meet! He had many more friends than enemies and even his enemies have to admit he's a very great man. He loved his family very much but he had to leave before Etoile could remember him being there. Verseau was a powerful man, but what made him even more powerful was his kindness (corny, yes I know)
Rin:
age: ???
Rin is a curse. No I don't mean he's a person that seems like bad luck, he is a curse. In this universe, curses take form. Anyways, rins personality is hard to place. He evolves throughout the story, but in the beginning, he is vicious, manipulative and rude.
Etoile receives Rin in the beginning, by a man who attacks him. He didn't know he had Rin until a bit farther into the game..Well. This took a bit of mystery from the prologue, didn't it?
Ruik Sethi:
age: 6,600
Ruik is almost as nice as Verseau was, but he has a tinge of mischievous tendencies sprinkled over him
He's Etoile's god father, and the leader (well, kind of ) over the Celestials. He is an impure warlock, which means he got his powers in an unapproved way. He treats Etoile like a son, and tries to guide him into the correct paths. He and Verseau were best friends all the way up to his death. Zeza:

Zeza is a demon that Ruik made a deal with. He isnt really seen much or heard much, but when you do hear him, he's causing something bad to happen
Atis Crell:
age: 14,200
Atis is a very peppy and happy man, he acts WAY to young for his age. He is technically the leader of the celestials, but he doesn't really know how to lead with a strong hand. He loves candy, jumping around, screaming, and bobbing his head to the beat in his head. Along with acting to young for his age, he also looks it. He is technically NOT a warlock, but an Elemental.
Serin Haimon:
age: 2,500
Serin is what we call a first class (excuse my language, dear) ass hole. He refuses to accept anyone new around him, he hates most everything and believes that his way is the only way to go. Of course he does has a gentle core, but lets face it: he isn't going to show it anytime soon. He hates Etoile, he hates Rin, he hates the world (well, except for the rest of his team members and his son) Oh yeah, did I mention he has a son? (yes, I did, in the little parenthesis
) You will learn more about his son through the game, but he isn't a re occurring character.Kelturo Markos:
age: 2,200
Kelturo is a mans man. He loves football, hacking loogies, and wrestling. He also has a few piercing because (in his words) "shows that I can take pain, man! It makes the guys swarm me to, so that a plus" He's really loud, obnoxious and funny. All that Kelturo ever thinks of is making people feel good, which is probably the reason he joined the celestials. He met Verseau a few times when he was alive, and it really hit him hard when he heard the news of his passing
Dundios Noe:
age: 1900
Dundios is growing through his depressed teenage years, and would rather sit on the couch all day sulking than to go out and fight (even though its his job to do so.) He doesn't hate everything, but he hates everything about himself. Honestly, Dundios is a downer to be around. The only person who can sit around him for more than a few minutes is his brother, Pefios.
Pefios Noe:
age: 1900
Pefios is Dundios' twin, and isn't the opposite of him, but he's very different from him. He has a few mental problems, and a speech impediment. Everyone around him can only describe him with one word: Weird. And he doesn't mind! Pefios loves to scare people, and hitch rides on top of peoples heads. (NO, he isn't a teeny tiny guy, he is an average teenage boy...kind of average
) The only time he can really calm down is when he's nuzzling up next to his brother.Xionell Cresent:

Xionell used to be the third person in the trio with Verseau and Ruik. After an incident,

he turned to the other side of the spectrum and became a witch hunter. He used to be a very determined and passionate boy, but now he shelters it behind anger.Vendredi

Vendredi is the king of Estavia. He's very dramatic and 9 times out of 10, he will be crying "woe is king" when you see him. He seems like a kind man, but some of his morals are a bit twisted (no spoiler for you!
) He was very fond of Verseau, and briefly met Etoile when he was first born.Orochi:

I guess this would be our "bad guy" of the story. He is on the opposite side of the war, down in Drehail. He's really lazy, and not very motivated to win the war. He has a kind of 'can we do it later?' attitude towards it, but ultimately he'd like to win.
And those are the...most relevant characters (I Actually have two more main characters, but this is lengthy enough!) I will post a few sketches of these characters today, and update the sketches of Versea and Etoile I did a few days ago! I'm almost down getting everything written down, so after that I will start drawing sprites (yes, this means my little project will move from the idea stage!!)
