Love it! Great logo - really suits the general purple-ish-ness of the game.

Look forward to this! The artwork looks gorgeous, the setting sound interesting... how's that demo coming along? :)

I'm working as hard as I can XD

My other game (Rex Rocket) just got one of the 14 booths at the Indie Megabooth at GDC2014, so the team for Rex is going CRAZY right now!

For Queen, There's the voice-acting for GDC, and then meantime I'm tying up all the loose ends in programming. To be honest, the script for Chapter 1 is very very done, but I want to get those nice screen effects in. As soon as the demo is ready I'm gonna put it up on The Website for everyone to play. I might do another little playtest right before that, though.

I obviously have to have a nice working demo of Queen At Arms before GDC, so that's what I'd expect as a release for the demo. Anyone who wants to be a playtester for the pre-demo can shoot me a line and I'll send you a build in a bit.

I also need some color advice. What kind of colors could I use for these stat popups? They look kind of terrible right now.

I tried bolding the text, but this particular font looks a bit doofy when it's bold. I'm open to using a nicer font. I think the popups would look much better if I hit them with some nice gradient effects, but I'm not sure if I can do that with vanilla Renpy text.

I used the color white earlier, which looks fine against the screen, but I wanted to differentiate between +points and -points

EDIT: OK, I took a second pass. They look like this now.

The light green seems like it'd stand out the most, though on lighter-colored backgrounds it may be a problem.

The bottom right is a best, though instead of a drop shadow, the best approach may be to have the font stroked.

I'm excited for the demo of this! :D I love fantasy and war and such.

The new version looks pretty good to me! You're right though it would be nice to have some extra effects in there... but it looks pretty nifty already!

Maybe the pink could be a little more pastelly, like the colour in the banner background?

Yeah... that's a good idea. Serenity had some ideas about the colours of these, maybe I'll make a simple variable she can play with and see if she comes up with some better colours.

New title screen! I'm trying to code this screen so that it shows a random boy and a random background.
